The worst had come. Even if they were injured, the cultivators could not afford to pay their wounds any attention. In the face of the demonic beasts' endless onslaught, their only chance at survival was to kill their way out. At that moment, both the humans and demonic beasts killed until their eyes turned a murderous red.

She snapped its neck brutally then threw it at the pack surrounding them. It crashed and knocked some of the monsters off their feet, but they quickly got up and closed in again.

Chuling was becoming exponentially more skilled at using the Silver Silk Net. She used it to dismember a Stage 1 demonic beast that charged at them, killing it on the spot. She had been protecting Feng Tianlan's left flank all this while. "Leave, my ladies!" she shouted. "Allow this servant to cover you both."

Zhang Tiancheng swung his good sword at the beasts lunging at them. Covered in blood from head to toe, one could no longer tell if the blood belonged to the creatures or him. He quickly urged, "Boss, they've come for the Spiritual Grass. Give me the Grass, and I'll lead them away. You all should take this chance to leave immediately."

Feng Tianlan initiated her Nature Element powers with her left hand as Fire Element flames gushed out from her right. The vines swept past the beasts like agile snakes, sending them tumbling to the ground. Straight after, huge, raging flames flew out at the demonic creatures, eliciting more cries of agony. In the blink of an eye, a dozen more demonic beasts collapsed, only for another score to take their place.

"These demonic beasts did not come here for the Spiritual Grass. Someone is manipulating them." Feng Tianlan's gaze lowered icily as she raised her hand. Sky-engulfing flames gushed out of her body, and the demonic beasts' howls instantly jolted the sky and earth.

When they realized that Feng Tianlan was the most powerful of them all, over half of the demonic beasts turned their heads to her and growled. Their sharp claws snapped out as they stormed at her.

"Tianlan." Luo Yunzhu and the others could not suppress their frightened screams. The demonic beasts that came at them this time were all Stage 3 demonic beasts, equivalent in power to a Spiritual Master. Furthermore, this was a pack of twenty, almost thirty, demonic beasts coming straight for them.

The four of them went all out and helped slay the beasts. Blood filled the sky at once. It was impossible to distinguish whether the blood was flowing from the demonic beasts or their own bodies. No one cared about the increasingly severe wounds they were suffering.

The flying beasts in the air abandoned all the other cultivators and went straight for Feng Tianlan. They brought down their razor claws, and it was a rain of knives. A chilling tear was heard, and three bloody streaks appeared on Feng Tianlan's back. She ignored the pain and focused on the flying beast, killing it in the very next instant.

"Miss Feng, look out! Ahh!"

Feng Tianlan turned as she heard the cry only to see Lin Suyin shielding her with her own body. A flying beast dug its claws deeply into Suyin's shoulder. If Lin Suyin had not thrown herself in front of Feng Tianlan in the nick of time, those claws would have been buried in her skull.

The flying beast grabbed Lin Suyin by the shoulder. With a long whistle, it dragged her skyward. Lin Suyin screamed in pain and severed its claw using the sword in her hand. Her body fell through the air at a shocking speed. Beneath her, millions of demonic beasts awaited. She was doomed.

Feng Tianlan pushed her heels off the ground and leaped up toward Lin Suyin. No matter what plans she may have been concocting, Lin Suyin had saved her life, and that was a fact. She would not watch her die right here.

"Tianlan."

"Miss."

"Boss."

The trio cried out at the precarious scene in front of them. Hundreds of winged, clawed beasts plunged from the skies as countless demonic beasts leaped up from the ground, mouths wide with bloodied fangs. Was this finally the end?
