After receiving this response, Si Mobai raised his eyebrows and smirked. His peach-blossom eyes filled with traces of a smile. It was as if he had glimpsed the world of flowers. There were no words to describe his happiness right now.

Si Mobai felt that he was the most blissful man in the world. His affection was finally being returned. Feng Tianlan had feelings for him at last.

Si Mobai's arms froze in mid-air. His newfound happiness was instantly cut short. His cheerfully beating heart became anxious all of a sudden. After staying silent for a while, he conceded in a deep voice, "Alright."

She'd said that she'd wanted to tell him something since last night. He did not dare guess at what she was about to say.

She grasped the fence, looking at vegetable seedlings, which were standing upright against the wind. She then looked at the small trees with withered leaves in the corner and revisited every single memory she'd shared with Si Mobai since being reborn.

Nothing significant had yet happened between the two of them, but he'd still silently, carefully broken into her world. This was something she could not deny.

The silence made Si Mobai even more nervous. He put down his somewhat moist hands, which were covered in a cold sweat. Thinking about everything they'd been through up until this point, he wanted to laugh. The first time he'd ever killed a human being, he had not even been nervous. He had not been nervous when facing thousands of armies.

Before she could even finish her sentence, Si Mobai interrupted her coldly, "Feng Tianlan!"

He didn't want her to thank him for liking her. Besides, what she was about to say was definitely another rejection, so he did not want to listen!
