Hearing these words of suppressed anger, the empress stared at Feng Tianlan in front of her coldly with her brows knitted. She was exuding the demeanor of an emperor, and even her speech contained the might of a ruler. Such a woman was too imposing in appearance.

Besides, she was not even enraged with her speech. It was probably because she shared a closer bond with her as she had watched her growing up.

"As long as you do not harm Jin'er and the child in her belly, I will not interfere." After uttering this sentence, the empress turned around and entered the inner hall.

She does not like Shen Yunya, but the child in her stomach was her grandchild. Hence, she had to make sure that the child could be born successfully.

Feng Tianlan glanced at the brightly lit inner hall, then turned around and left the palace.

"Shui Jue, how did it go?"

Shui Jue did not appear, nor was his voice loud in his reply. She was the only one that could hear him, "Everything has been done, that bowl of snow rabbit soup just now is Jiang Ying's manhood…"

As soon as Feng Tianlan's word fell, she heard a crisp voice as cool and mellow as wine striking her ears, "If you can meet him now, what would you do, Lan'er?"

Hearing this familiar voice, Feng Tianlan shifted her gaze from the full moon to her front. Beneath the endless curtain of the night, on the side of the empty street, under the faint moonlight, a tall white figure slowly walked towards her. Under the veil of moonlight, that handsome face that would render the rest of the world black and white looked more like a deity descending from the sky…

Staring at the one who was approaching, Feng Tianlan's heart could not help but missed a beat. It seemed to her that she was looking at Mobai. Was she seeing things?

Si Mobai stood in front of Feng Tianlan. Watching her eyes full of disbelief, he raised the corner of his lips, reached out his hand, and gently flicked her forehead, "Have you become a fool after seeing your husband?"

"Mo… Mobai?" Feng Tianlan raised her hand to hold her forehead that was experiencing mild pain. She still could not believe that Si Mobai had appeared in front of herself out of nowhere. That just does not feel real.

Si Mobai nodded gently and revealed a gleeful smile on his face, "Now that you've seen him, what are you going to do, Lan'er?"

"Ah! It's really Mobai!" Feng Tianlan confirmed again and again. Immediately, she spread her hands, jumped on him, and hugged Si Mobai.
