The seat that he sat on and the arm rest which he was using, were covered with a layer of bright yellow cloth embroidered with dragons. It added a luxurious and graceful touch to the whole look.

But it was clear that he disdained the couch the Fang family used.

Compared to his relaxed state, Fang Manxue, Long Shuhai and Fang Lilan were about to go insane with anxiety.

Half a beat later, just as the three of them were about to faint due to quivering nerves, Bai Qinghao spoke up coldly. "Don't you have anything to say?"

"C… CEO Bai." Fang Lilan stepped forward first. "I was in the wrong. I never expected Weng Jingke to be such a person. To think she had the intention to wrong our family's Xinxin! Such a person really deserves to die!"

Fang Manxue also shoved all of the responsibility onto Weng Jingke. "CEO Bai, Weng Jingke and I, along with Xinxin, are all classmates. I never expected her to be so black-hearted."

She refused to admit that they were best friends. She was clearly fearful of being implicated. Thus, she could only claim they were superfluous classmates and even dragged Fang Xinxin's name into it. This way, Bai Qinghao would not suspect her.

"Stop mentioning Weng Jingke now." Long Shuhai quickly chided her. "CEO Bai's time is precious. Earlier, he was upset at her for how much time she wasted."

"Yes, yes, yes." Fang Manxue responded with a guilty conscience.

Bai Qinghao reached out and wrapped his arms around Fang Xinxin, who was a seat away from him. He then brought her onto his lap.
