Butler Bai, who was waiting nearby, approached him. "Elder, what are your orders?"

"That's what I think as well." Elder Bai's sharp gaze swept past Bai Jingrou and her family. "You guys better not be the ones behind this!"

Huang Zhishu immediately cried and proclaimed her innocence. "Father, you know that I'm the most obedient. I haven't caused any trouble since I married into the Bai family."

"Grandfather, this is our family's pond." Bai Chenxi spoke indignantly. "No matter how useless your grandson is, I would never do anything to our own family's fishes. I swear, if I played a role in this matter, let God strike it's thunder upon me."

"Of course you would make a vow like this. You aren't the person responsible for this." Fang Xinxin glanced at him mockingly before turning towards Bai Jingrou.
