"Zhu Lingling, you're in the way of their love, is that really what you want?" Gao Ran was looking down on her.2

"But I'm scared to sleep alone, I'll have nightmares." Zhu Lingling pouted.

"Don't you have Gao Ran?"

"Him? No, it's inappropriate for men and women to share a room." Zhu Lingling awkwardly smiled.

"Don't worry, I won't do anything to you. Why do you have to be so self-absorbed?"

"Even if you wanted to do something to me, I won't let you," Zhu Lingling argued back.

"So… guys, do you guys want to sleep in the same room, or separate ones?" laughing, Huo Mian asked.

"I'm fine with whatever…" Gao Ran curled his lips and didn't say anything else.

"I, uh… I actually want you…"

"Ahem…" Qin Chu coughed at a suitable time.

Zhu Lingling changed her wording immediately. "I'll room with the damn policeman and just suffer."

In the end, everybody was happy...

Right when Qin Chu got back to his room, Rick, who was here again, called him away.

Huo Mian sat in her room for a while; bored, she decided to look for Zhu Lingling and Gao Ran.

At her surprise, right as she walked out of her door, she bumped into Su Yu in the hallway...

The two faced each other, and Huo Mian smiled awkwardly.

"Hi," she calmly greeted him and smiled.

She might've been a bit nervous, as her glasses began to slide down...

Su Yu reacted quickly, catching the glasses instantaneously. He slowly opened them and placed them back on Huo Mian's small, delicate face.

"You look… beautiful tonight," Su Yu said to her in a serious tone.

"Ahem… stop joking."

Even Huo Mian felt like her getup better suited a trip to the grocery store.

To her surprise, however, Su Yu actually said she was beautiful...

She didn't know that Su Yu loved her style. Perhaps it was because he owned an entertainment company and often hung out with women in the industry.

Therefore, he was tired of the evening gowns, long legs, and large chests...

So to his surprise, Su Yu actually really liked Huo Mian's casual outfit.

The huge mickey-mouse design on the sweater was especially cute, no matter which angle Su Yu looked at it from.

If they weren't at a public venue and Huo Mian wasn't married, he really would force her to a corner and push her against the wall.

"I'm not joking, I'm being serious."

Just as Huo Mian was about to reply, she heard Qin Chu walk up from behind her and grab her waist.

Then, he smiled faintly at Su Yu...

"Honey, is he your friend?"

"Uh… Su Yu is a patient I looked after at South Side Recuperation Centre, we have… a doctor and patient relationship," Huo Mian explained.

"Hi, I am…" before Qin Chu could finish his sentence, Su Yu interrupted him and said, "Sorry, but I don't care even a bit about who you are. I only pay attention to people I care about."

After speaking, Su Yu strode away as he didn't want to say another word.

"Su Yu's like that, don't mind him," laughing, Huo Mian explained to Qin Chu.

"Mhm." Qin Chu nodded and went back to his room with Huo Mian in his arms.

- Half an hour later - (TL Note: now, what did they do in that half hour)

The Western restaurant had prepared a delicate buffet for everybody.

There were more than a hundred people eating a lavish meal and drinking good wine in the spacious restaurant. The ambiance was great.

Close to the end, a man with blonde hair and blue eyes, who looked to be about fifty or so, walked to the center of the stage.

"That's Lawrence, right?" Gao Ran asked.

"No, he's Lawrence's assistant. We won't be able to see Lawrence in person until the end of the third day. That's when he'll appear," Qin Chu slowly said.

"I will see everyone in the Cloud Hall in thirty minutes. Fifty people will be eliminated tonight, good luck to you all," he spoke in English.

After the crowd understood his words, they couldn't stop chatting because they felt like it was too cruel to eliminate fifty people on the first day.

They each paid two hundred thousand American dollars, they wouldn't be eliminated immediately, right?

"If one is eliminated, will they be forced to leave the cruise ship?" Huo Mian was a little worried and asked Qin Chu quietly.
