The answer was obvious – Huo Mian didn't think that a woman who lived in Italy for the better half of her life would have the temperament of a Canadian or Japanese person.

The only explanation was that she was trying to get others to sympathize and like her, so as to pull herself closer to the Qin family.

This woman was indeed calculating and manipulative…

After Song Yishi left, Jing Zhixin quietly asked, "Sis, who was that woman? She seems really close with Mrs. Qin."

"She's Mayor Song daughter who met Qin Chu when they were kids… Mrs. Qin loves her and treats her like her daughter-in-law."

Huo Mian summarized everything into one short sentence.
