In Huo Mian's mind, Mrs. Su had always been a lady that understood the importance of timing. Mrs. Su always knew what she should and shouldn't do and therefore, she had left a good impression on Huo Mian. Huo Mian thought of her as someone that was kind, tender, and down to earth.

The two of them didn't walk too far and settled in at a restaurant near the hospital.

"Mrs. Su, did you come to find me because you have something to tell me?" Huo Mian took the imitative and asked.

"Yes." Mrs. Su nodded and continued, "Did you know that Yu is back?"

"Yes, I've heard."

"Before he came back, I started an event called "The Most Beautiful Girl" at his company. It wasn't covered by too much media because I wanted to keep it on the down-low. I want to find a pretty and smart girl who is well-educated and from a good family background to be Yu's girlfriend."

"But, is he okay with this?" Huo Mian asked. She knew Su Yu too well. His hot temper would make it unlikely for him to accept his mother's actions.

"No, he won't, and that's why I came to find you."

"Me? Is there something I can help you with?" Huo Mian replied in surprise.

"Yeah." Mrs. Su wrapped her hands on Huo Mian's and said, "I know Yu really likes you, child. Your shadows fill his heart. But currently, you have a great relationship with your husband. It is unlikely you guys will divorce or even be separated. With your personality, it's also unlikely for you to take on the act of betrayal, so Yu has no chance. Instead of letting this crush of his go on, perhaps I can help find him someone to take your place. Perhaps with time, he will slowly forget you."

"I hope so too." Huo Mian nodded. From the bottom of her heart, she hoped that Su Yu would forget her and live the life he was supposed to.

"But Yu is stubborn. He won't listen to anyone. Even when he was in the South Sea, he and his grandfather got into an argument about us setting him up. After all this, I think you're the only one who can convince him."

"So, you want me to convince Su Yu to allow this event to be continued?"

After a moment of contemplation, Huo Mian nodded. "Mrs, Su, I will try. It might not work, but I will try my best."

"Thank you, child."

"Anytime. I'm happy that I can help you and Su Yu."

"You're such a wonderful girl, it's too bad Yu doesn't have the luck to be with you." Tenderness and love spilled through Mrs. Su's eyes as she observed Huo Mian. She had really taken a liking to the girl sitting in front of her. Huo Mian was understanding, mature, and most importantly, real and down to earth.

"Mrs. Su, please, don't say that. I'm not good enough for Su Yu. The Su Family is too elite for typical and average individuals like me."

"Hush now, child, no need for formality. Elite or not, as long as Su Yu likes you, the whole family will like you." Mrs. Su smiled.

"So I will leave this matter to you then," Mrs. Su reminded Huo Mian before she left.

"Okay." Huo Mian nodded.

By the time she got back to the hospital, she had fifteen minutes left before her lunch break was over.

Huo Mian pulled out her phone and sent Qin Chu a voice message on WeChat, "Honey, what are you doing?"

"I just finished a meeting. You?"

"I just ate. Honey, I want to ask your permission to do something!"

"Yes?"

"Well, it's just that, I want to go and meet Su Yu," shakily, Huo Mian spoke of her request, not knowing if Mr. Qin was going to be jealous.
