Standing behind Qin Chu, Huo Mian began to cry. Big drops of tears began falling like the last thunderstorm before the end of summer.

Huo Siqian, who stood from afar, felt his heartache.

As soon as Huo Mian got into the car, she took some Kleenex and wiped away the tears on her face. She then stuck out her tongue and asked Su Yu, "What did you think of my performance just now?"

"What?" Su Yu asked in confusion.

"I was putting on a show for Huo Siqian! You know, the scene where Qin Chu and I had a fight to show that we're completely done?"

"Oh. I came too late and missed it. But, seeing how much you're crying, I guess you were pretty into it."

"Of course! If I don't do it seriously, that bastard would never believe it."

"You should go to South Hill Manor and do some explaining to Qin Chu. He doesn't know you were just acting, he's probably feeling terrible right now," Su Yu guessed.

"It's okay. Being the fox that Huo Siqian is, he will probably have Qin Chu and I followed. If I go find him now, we will reveal ourselves."

"So where should we go now?"

The party at the hotel continued. Song Yishi lied and said that she wasn't feeling well and excused herself. In reality, she just didn't want to stand next to Huo Siqian for another second.

"Boss, we are done with the investigation."

"And?" Huo Siqian sipped on a glass of champagne and asked slowly.

"Qin Chu back to GK Headquarters to some extra work, and Huo Mian, I mean, Miss Huo went to Seductive Fox with Su Yu. She looked very upset and was still crying after getting off the car. Su Yu was holding onto her as she walked."

"Sh*t. I've planned for so long, and Su Yu ends up getting the better end of the deal." Huo Siqian slammed his glass down onto the table and walked out of the hotel as he wiped his hands with a handkerchief.

"Su Yu, let's do a duo?" The room gave off a weird vibe as there were only Su Yu and Huo Mian.

In an attempt to break free of the awkward vibe, Huo Mian took the initiative and asked Su Yu to sing a song with her.

Su Yu was surprised for a moment, and then a deep happiness began bubbling from the bottom of his heart.

"You can pick the song."

"You mean…You will sing whatever song I pick?" Huo Mian smiled and began scrolling for songs.

Su Yu took a seat on the nearby couch and watched Huo Mian quietly. For a moment, he felt greedy and wondered how amazing it would be if this woman was his real girlfriend...
