Song Yishi had been offering him wine ever since he entered her mansion, so there must be something wrong with the wine.

As expected, Song Yishi immediately panicked upon hearing what he said, "No… there's nothing in there, I can take a sip first to prove it to you."

Qin Chu tried to pry Song Yishi's hands away from him, but she refused to let go. She used all the strength in her body and latched onto him like glue. "Please, Qin Chu… you're the only man I've ever truly liked… please don't leave me with any regrets, okay?"

Song Yishi struggled hard, leaving her night-robe in such a mess as if she had been molested or something.

Qin Chu was speechless by what she was doing; if he had known, he wouldn't have shown mercy and come looking for her.

Huo Mian was still waiting for him at home; he really didn't want to stay a moment longer.

However, no matter how hard he tried to leave, Song Yishi refused to let go… in the end, Qin Chu got so angry that he threw her hands off of him with one hand and slapped her with the other.

"Song Yishi, wake up and take a look at yourself. Your dad will be disappointed to see you like this," he said. After adjusting his shirt collar, he left Song Yishi's mansion with an angry expression on his face.

Song Yishi covered her cheek and fell onto the ground, her expression filled with despair. She wondered how things with Qin Chu ended up like this. She was supposed to act like a proud goddess in front him, not embarrass herself to this degree… Song Yishi secretly wanted to be Huo Mian, a woman liked by all men. But… the reality was harsh.

The living room fell dead silent after Qin Chu left.

Three minutes later, a long shadow appeared in the dim mansion. "Tsk tsk, Qin Chu is sure devoid of compassion."
