"I never act without advisement, tell me about it first and I'll make a decision." Grandpa Su rolled up his sleeves and sipped on his cup of tea.

"The case about Mayor Song's daughter?" Grandpa Song asked nonchalantly, and Su Yu nodded nonstop. "Yeah, that case."

Then, he moved up to his grandpa, who took another sip of tea. "Continue…"

"My friend's husband is the suspect of that case, so I was wondering if you can help get my friend an opportunity to see him."

"No," Grandpa Su immediately refused.

"Why not?" Su Yu asked, unwilling to give up.

"Because I said so… Yu, no matter who this friend of yours is, you can't interfere… Mayor Song's daughter died a brutal death, and the provincial government is paying close attention to this incident… Don't look for trouble during a sensitive time like this."

"That's enough." Grandpa Su placed his teacup down and left the room, leaving Su Yu alone and filled with disappointment.

Su Yu sighed… he felt bad that he couldn't help Huo Mian.

Huo Siqian's female assistant carefully knocked on his office door. "President Huo… someone's here to see you, she said she's your girlfriend."

"My… girlfriend?" Huo Siqian froze for a second; it couldn't be Mo Xue'er, since she came and left as she wished and never told his assistant that she was his girlfriend.

"Tell her to come in."

Wang Shasha came in wearing a floor-length dress and delicate makeup. She said in an almost whining tone, "Siqian…"

"Why are you here?" Huo Siqian icily scanned her face; he seemed displeased to see her.
