"Huo Siqian's despicable, but he would never try to kill me. If it were him, he would've tried to kidnap me. But these people wanted me dead, so…"

"So the person behind this attack was Song Qingguo," Su Yu said, calling Mayor Song out by name.

"Mhm, I think it's him… I underestimated him…" Huo Mian said faintly.

"If it was really him, he sure had guts… trying to harm someone that the Su Family is trying to protect is like declaring war against our family. Damn, I'm not going to let him off the hook easily, who cares if he's the mayor? I wouldn't give a damn, even if he were the senator."

"Calm down, Su Yu, don't act rashly…"

"Don't worry, I know what to do with arrogant people who think they have all the power."
