"Please take care of Mian for me… I think Huo Siyi will call her or me for the ransom… I'm afraid that she might act rashly and bring him the money herself… Huo Siyi isn't after the money. He wants revenge. You have to keep an eye on her. If anything happens, call me!"

"Don't worry. Leave it to me." Su Yu nodded.

Huo Mian asked Su Yu, "What did my husband say?" after he hung up the phone.

Su Yu was worried so he stood by the door. He suspected that she was hiding something from him.

Huo Mian sat on the toilet and stared at her phone.

In less than three minutes, a number starting with 1009 called. 

Since her headphones were plugged in, her phone did not ring.

Huo Mian took the call and put on her headphones.

"Huo Mian… It's been a long time." From the other side of the call, Huo Mian heard Huo Siyi's voice, and she felt shivers echo through her body.

"Huo Siyi, where are my daughters?" Huo Mian's voice was soft. She put the headphone microphone very close to her lips so the person on the line could hear her clearly while Su Yu, who was guarding outside, couldn't.
