"Yeah. She's a very famous doctor at South Side. If you don't believe me, you can go to confirm the facts yourself. Also, my daddy is a graduate of Harvard University. He's a neurosurgeon… I think your mother would be good hands with my parents… They can work magic."0

"Really? Don't try to trick me."

"Don't worry. Even though I'm a kid, I know I shouldn't lie. If you let us go, I'll make sure my parents treat your mother and give you a large sum of money so you and your family can live a comfortable life."

"Um…" Dahai was in a dilemma as soon as he heard Pudding say that he had to help set them free.

"I've said all I wanted to say. I won't force you to make a decision but you should think about it and see what is best for you." Pudding felt like she had said the perfect amount. She believed that most normal people would be able to make the right decision.

"You're right but the problem is… the situation isn't that simple. There are a lot of people here. They are all criminals. I can't even let you go if I wanted to… I'm afraid that before I can even set you guys free, our plan will be exposed and we'd all be doomed."

Suddenly, Dahai heard footsteps from behind.

Pudding was well alert. She let go of him and walked back a few steps.

"What's taking you so long?" The ape-like man walked over and glared at the two of them.

"Oh, the kid has a stomach ache." Dahai chuckled.

"Are you done? Hurry up and take her back inside. Big Brother Yi is coming soon. You'll be the one to blame if anything goes wrong." 

"I know, I know." Then, Dahai picked Pudding up and walked back.

On their way back, Pudding didn't say anything… Dahai was actually moved by Pudding's words.

However, he did not have enough power to set them free because the others were all there. He wouldn't have a chance unless they were all away.

This, however, was very unlikely.

Pudding was also in a deadlock. She looked down and remained silent but she continuously thought of other plans to escape.

When Pudding returned the warehouse, Little Bean immediately ran over.

"Sis, how was it? What's it like outside?"

"We're at an abandoned factory. No one lives around here and there are weeds everywhere. It's a deserted place… Even if we managed to escape, we won't be able to go home easily… I'm sure of one thing though. That is, we haven't left C City. This makes it a lot easier for us because we can trust Daddy will come to save us."

"Why are you sure we're still in C City?" Little Bean asked.

Pudding sighed, "I oversimplified the situation. Even if he wanted to help us, he doesn't have that ability. The guy in charge here is that ape-like man but I'm certain he's a criminal and won't listen to what we have to say."

"Criminal… Oh my… Will he kill us? I'm so scared, Pudding."

Little Bean lost her calm once again…

"Don't worry. As long as they don't receive the ransom, we won't be in danger," Pudding said with certainty.

"I don't know which son of a b*tch kidnapped us. When I get out, I'll cut him into pieces!" Little Bean cursed.

- Inside another factory on the outskirts of the city - 

"Big Brother Yi, Huo Mian is here," one of the subordinates reported to Huo Siyi, who slowly got up from his chair.
