"Yeah. I got off work early today. I wanted to go to Taste of Sichuan for spicy hotpot," Huo Mian said with a smile.1

When the five managers saw Huo Mian, their eyes lit up because they saw their savior. They were so delighted that if they could, they would light fireworks to celebrate. 

"I still have some work left…" Qin Chu responded.

"But I'm hungry…" Huo Mian bit her lips and started to act cute.

Indeed, Qin Chu had no resistance towards Huo Mian.

He looked at his watch then looked at the five managers and said, "I'll deal with you guys tomorrow at the morning meeting. You can leave now."

"Yes, President Qin."

After the five managers left, Qin Chu stood up. He put on his jacket and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

He said, "Let's go and eat hotpot."

"Okay…" Before they left for dinner, Huo Mian didn't forget to tell the secretaries, "Tell everyone they can go home now."

These people couldn't admire Huo Mian more... President Qin was definitely terrifying whenever he was angry, but as long as Huo Mian could come, everything would be fine.

Inside the Taste of Sichuan's private room, the couple ate the delicious spicy hotpot.

"It's very spicy. Slow down, no one's going to fight over it with you..." Qin Chu kept on reminding.

"It's so good though. I craved this for so long so I don't care!" Huo Mian stuck her tongue out.

"Honey, why are you off work so early today? Did Yang call you for help?"

"Of course not. I was busy during the day but there was no work in the evening so I wanted to go out for dinner with you."

"How Ni Yang's case going? I've been so busy with work that I haven't had the time to read the news." Qin Chu put some beef in the pot as he chatted casually with Huo Mian.

"It's nothing too difficult, I can take care of it," Huo Mian said confidently.

"That's good to hear…" Qin Chu nodded and put some vegetables in Huo Mian's bowl.

"Honey, about the condos in the south. I heard it from Yang today. What are you planning to do?"

"There's no good plan at this point. I'm going to pay for the windows and doors and see if we can hand over the apartments to the customers on time… As for the banks and the private lenders though, I'm not going to deal with that… It's too complicated…"

"The total amount for the doors and windows isn't a small number. We had paid for it already. If we pay it again, aren't we double-paying?"

"Yeah… that would be what's happening." Qin Chu nodded.

"We won't be able to earn much from that condo project. We probably won't be able to expand in Linnan now since we got ourselves a bad reputation there."

"Yeah and that's why I was so mad. You had personally approved this project two years ago. It should have been a great start for expansion but now it's gone sour. I'm not happy about this," Qin Chu said with a light sigh.

"What if I have a plan that can save us?" Huo Mian looked at Qin Chu with a smile.

"What plan?" Qin Chu looked up at her.

"Give me a kiss first, and I'll tell you after that…" Huo Mian teased.

Qin Chu was in a very good mood now. He walked over and raised Huo Mian up. Then, he kissed her on the lips.

She had only requested one small kiss but Qin Chu did not let her go.

When the server came in to add soup, he was shocked to his core by the sight.

"Honey… We're in public right now, it's inappropriate..." Huo Mian said. She pushed Qin Chu away because she couldn't catch her breath.

"Honey, since you rarely ask for it, I must satisfy you this time…"

"Um…" Huo Mian was speechless.

"What? Are you not satisfied?" Qin Chu teased her.

"No, no, I'm very satisfied… Haha…" Huo Mian waved her hands as she was no fight against Qin Chu.

"So Honey, can you tell your husband what your clever plan is now?" Qin Chu licked his lips alluringly and gave Huo Mian a sexy smile.
