In the midst of their conversation, Qin Chu's phone rang.

It turned out to be a call from Pudding. Qin Chu pressed the speaker button on his phone and upped the volume to let Huo Mian join in on the conversation. 

As soon as the call was answered, Pudding's cute voice sounded. "Daddy, where are you?"

"Daddy's outside."

"Are you busy?"

"Yeah, I'm busy." Qin Chu's eyes were full of love.

"Is Mommy there with you? Are you two together?"

"Yes, we're together."

"When are you guys coming to the resort?"

"Very soon. We'll head over right after we finish our business here..."

"Uncle Zhixin and Grandma are here already, so we're only missing you two. I've always thought of Daddy and Mommy as punctual people… so..." Pudding didn't say the rest.

Huo Mian couldn't help but give a big thumbs-up her daughter's cleverness. What a way she had with words...

"Daddy and Mommy will get there in time. Don't worry, Pudding." Qin Chu promised again and again.

Suddenly, Little Bean grabbed the phone.

"Daddy… I miss you so much..."

Their second daughter minced no words, acting cute with all of her might. Her voice was beyond adorable, heart-melting-ly adorable.

"Little Bean… Daddy misses you too."

"Daddy… I haven't seen you and Mommy for so long… I couldn't sleep these past few nights. I can't sleep, I can't eat… I've even lost four milliliters of weight..."

"Four milliliters of weight… haha..." Huo Mian couldn't help but laugh.

Only her cute Little Bean would weigh herself in milliliters.

"Mommy, how could you laugh? Don't you have sympathy?" Little Bean began to complain at the sound of her mommy's laughter.

"Little Bean… have you really lost weight? Why don't I believe that? How are you not gaining weight with all the food at the resort?"

"I've really lost weight… Ask Sis if you don't believe me." Little Bean pouted.

"Daddy, Daddy… please hurry… My heart is empty when you're not with me… Nothing is fun without you..."

Rick watched as the conversation went on, completely envious.

Although he wasn't yet a father, he could tell how happy Qin Chu was just from the expressions on his face.

"Of course! Daddy is the most important person in the world!"

"Then what about Mommy?" Huo Mian pretended to be jealous.

"Mommy's just a little less than Daddy… because Mommy sometimes has a bad temper, and Mommy's not as calm as Daddy..."

Little Bean's comments almost made the three grownups laugh out loud.

"Fine… Little Bean, I'll remember what you've said..." Huo Mian said, laughing.

"So… Daddy, can you come here now? I want to eat lotus cake and osmanthus jelly from Xu Ji Restaurant..." Little Bean finally arrived at the main point of her call.

"Now? But Daddy needs a few hours to get there." Qin Chu looked at his watch.
