"Ah… we're both still really busy and don't have time for it. Maybe later…" Huo Mian tried to talk her way out of it but Su Yu was able to see that she still looked a bit disappointed.2

"When your kids grow old and you two turn old, do you think it's still worth having a wedding?" Mrs. Su didn't like Huo Mian's response.

Mr. Su tried to make Mrs. Su back down by saying, "You shouldn't worry about those two. Their love is stronger than anything. Remember, our mothers and fathers didn't have a proper wedding either but they still lived together for their whole lives."

When Grandpa Su heard this, he nodded and said, "Yeah. Your mother and I had an arranged wedding. Back then, it was war and everyone barely had enough to eat. Who would have the time and money for a wedding… Your mother followed me everywhere and stuck with me through many tough times… *Sigh* I feel a bit guilty for her…" Grandpa Su did not feel warm and fuzzy when he recalled his earlier days and his wife that passed away a few years ago.

"Huh? Why are you guys talking about such a depressing topic? Let's change the topic to a happier one… You adults should stop giving yourselves such a hard time!" Little Bean jumped up and down.

"Hahaha, okay. We'll listen to Little Bean and change to a happier topic…" Grandpa Su picked Little Bean up and put her on his lap.

"Then what topic do you want to switch to?" Mr. Su intentionally teased Little Bean.

"I wanted to ask Grandma Su when we will have dinner…" Little Bean said with an innocent voice and the whole room burst into laughter. 

"You're such a foodie…" There was nothing Huo Mian could do about Little Bean's love for food.

"Dinner is almost ready. When your father comes, we can eat," Mrs. Su said with a smile.

"Mian, why don't you give Chu a call to see where he is now?" Yang Meirong whispered by Huo Mian's ears.

After all, it wasn't that good for everyone to wait for one single person to start dinner. Huo Mian nodded. Just when she was about to take out her phone, Qin Chu walked in.

"Sorry I'm late. I just finished a meeting…" Qin Chu apologized as soon as he walked in.

"You're not late. You're just in time. Come, come…" Grandpa Su waved at Qin Chu. He seemed to be very fond of Qin Chu.

Qin Chu had a delicate box in his hand. He walked over to Mr. Su and handed it to him. "Uncle, this is Chinese white wine from my client. He said it was aged for 20 years so it should have a nice flavor to it. Please take this and have it with Grandpa Su."

"Oh wow! It's hard to find ones that are aged for 20 years now… Oh… especially this Bamboo Green…" Mr. Su and Grandpa Su loved drinking, especially Chinese white wine, so they were very happy. 

Then, Qin Chu looked at Su Yu and nodded. He greeted, "You came back from your business trip?"

"Yeah, I brought some tea leaves for you." Su Yu then handed a delicate box of tea leaves to Qin Chu.

"Thank you." Qin Chu nodded as a sign of appreciation. The two men were very polite towards each other. It looked as if they were very distant from each other.

"Daddy, look at my qipao! Isn't it pretty?" Little Bean climbed down from Grandpa Su and went hugging her father's legs, acting cute.

"It's very pretty."

"Handsome Su bought it for me and Pudding… Mommy has one too…" Little Bean had said too much.

Qin Chu looked at Pudding and saw that her dress was the same red qipao as Little Bean's. Then he looked over at Huo Mian and was amazed by the sight. 

He smiled and said, "The qipao looks very beautiful."

"Aren't you jealous?" Little Bean teased her father.

"Why do I need to be jealous?" Qin Chu picked Little Bean up and asked.

"Because your rival in love gifted it to Mommy?" Little Bean was rather audacious in her words.

When Huo Mian heard Little Bean's words, she almost choked on her food…

"Little Bean, enough…" Huo Mian said in an embarrassed tone.
