3"It's not that easy to defeat Huo Siqian…" Qin Chu said slowly.

"Are you really that afraid of him?" To be honest, at that moment, Su Yu looked down on Qin Chu.

Why would a man as strong as Qin Chu be afraid of a scumbag like Huo Siqian? 

"I'm not afraid of him… It's just that Huo Siqian has a complicated network of connections behind him…"

"Connections behind him… You mean…" Su Yu wasn't sure of the details between Huo Siqian and Ian but Huo Mian, Qin Chu, and Rick knew it very clearly.

Once the two men finished their conversation, they went back into the Su Residence. Qin Chu and his family stayed a bit longer before they left.

They first sent Yang Meirong to Sky Blessing Court before they returned to South Hill Manor.

Su Yu looked at his watch, and seeing that it was past nine, he stood up to pick up his jacket.

"Son, are you leaving already?" Mrs. Su came after him, looking as if she didn't want him to leave.

"Yeah, I'm going to go back to get some rest." Su Yu rarely stayed at his family's mansion.

"Yu…" Mrs. Su seemed like she wanted to say something. 

"Mom, did you have something you wanted to say to me?" Su Yu could tell that there was something bothering his mother.

Mrs. Su nodded.

"What is it?" Su Yu put his jacket on his shoulders while gently smiling at his mother.

"You know that I have a good friend that owns a tea restaurant, right?"

"Yeah, that Auntie Li right?" Su Yu vaguely remembered who his mother was talking about.

"Yeah, yeah, she has a niece who's coming back from the UK. Her niece is a professor at Yale and she's quite a beauty. She's also very nice. Although she lives abroad, she's willing to move to China. When I was having lunch with Auntie Li, I saw her and I think she's…" 

Before Mrs. Su could finish, Su Yu wrapped his arm around Mrs. Su and said, "Mom, even if you think she's great, it has nothing to do with me. I don't care because I don't want to get married right now. Mom, you don't need to do all this extra work, okay?"

"Yu, I don't want to force you to get married either. I'm doing this not because I want you to get married. Rather, I just want you to meet this girl, maybe start as friends. If you ever have feelings for her, then maybe you guys can build on that relationship. Even if you don't have feelings for her, then you can just be friends with her… You just have too few female friends right now. Some people might gossip about you behind your back."

Mrs. Su knew her son well so she would normally not bring this topic up but many people were speaking poorly about him. 

There were all sorts of rumors about Su Yu. Though they would not speak of it in front of Mrs. Su, the rumors would eventually come to Mrs. Su's knowledge.

Su Yu was the only son of the Su Family in his generation and he was in his early 30s. He was handsome and rich, but unwilling to get married.

Many people would bring their imaginations wild to try to fathom Su Yu's behavior.

Although Mrs. Su wasn't a vulgar person, she would not tolerate people gossiping about her son because it made her feel bad.

No matter how hard it was to bring the conversation up, she would do it.

Although she knew very clearly that her son would not listen to her, she still tried.

"Mom, did you hear some bad rumors about me?" Su Yu asked.
