While Huo Mian and Qin Chu were having a great time drinking bubble tea, Tang Chuan called Huo Mian.1

"Sis-in-Law, where are you?" Tang Chuan was acting like he knew Huo Mian very well and there was nothing Huo Mian could do about it.

"Qin Chu and I are by 2nd High School for dinner…"

"Huh? Did you guys eat already?" Tang Chuan asked.

"Yeah. What time do you think it is? We came when I got off work. What's the matter?" Huo Mian spoke with Tang Chuan on the phone while drinking the bubble tea that Qin Chu was holding on to.

"Ning and I booked a room at First Class Royal Palace. We want to treat everyone to hotpot…"

"Oh, but we already ate. You guys enjoy…"

"No. We're leaving tomorrow so we wanted to gather everyone and treat you guys to a good meal. It's not about the food. We just want to gather everyone before we leave…" Tang Chuan explained.

"Huh? Leave? You two?" Huo Mian didn't know what was going on. 

"Just come over! We'll be waiting. Oh, we're on the third floor of First Class Royal Palace, room 888." Tang Chuan hung up right after he finished his sentence, not waiting for any response from Huo Mian.

"That Tang Chuan…" Huo Mian shook her head helplessly and put away her phone.

"What's the matter?" Qin Chu asked as he grabbed her by the shoulder.

"Tang Chuan said he and Ning want to treat us for dinner tonight and that they're leaving tomorrow. He wants us to go over now."

"Ning-Ning is flying out tomorrow…" Qin Chu nodded.

"How come I didn't know about that?" Huo Mian said with surprise.

"I had Yang book the ticket. I even had to get someone at the airport to help or else I wouldn't have been able to get her that ticket. I haven't had the chance to tell you yet, but I was going to tell you when we got home."

"Then we should head over. We don't know when Ning-Ning will come back."

"Yeah." Qin Chu nodded.

The two drove over to First Class Royal Palace.

Jiang Xiaowei and Wei Liao had already arrived. Zhu Lingling came by herself as Gao Ran was nowhere to be seen. 

"Lingling, where's Gao Ran?" Tang Chuan asked.

"I don't want to talk about it. It's all because of that psycho killer… Everyone's terrified. There was a new murder and my husband hasn't eaten or slept well for the past few days. He lost so much weight! He's even eating and sleeping at the Municipal Public Security Bureau. Over these days, I don't even have the mood to watch my store. Sometimes I go to the Municipal Public Security Bureau and bring him something good to eat. I already sent Boyuan over to his grandparents' place." Zhu Lingling was also a bit exhausted. 

"Oh yeah. I saw the news. It's so god damn terrifying, right? Where did this psychopath come from? He's killing one after another…" Tang Chuan responded.

"Who knows! I just hope they can arrest him as soon as possible. I hope that no more murders happen because my husband's going to be done in by all the work if this goes on. Then I'd be a sad widow…"

"Hahaha, don't worry. You're such a strong and independent woman. This small case won't be able to hurt you two…" Tang Chuan laughed as he found Zhu Lingling to be very funny.

"Hey, Mian! Come over! Sit next to me so we can chat…" Zhu Lingling waved at Huo Mian when she saw them coming in.

Huo Mian walked over with a smile on her face. She sat by Zhu Lingling and Jiang Xiaowei and the three started to gossip.

Wei Liao and Qin Chu also chatted with each other.

"Where's our great Mr. Su? Is he stuck in traffic? But he's usually really punctual…" Tang Chuan said as he looked at his watch.
