"Young Master Su, we prepared the best private room for you up on our highest floor," the manager said with a big smile.1

"It's just the two of us, the private room will be too quiet… we'll sit up at the bar." Su Yu shook his head and headed straight up to the bar, sitting down at a booth.

Music blasted in their ears as Su Yu and An glanced around the dancefloor, where men and women wearing next to nothing were grinding against each other. 

The manager immediately brought some alcohol and fruit to the table.

"An, if you see a girl you like, just go for it, okay? Don't hold back," Su Yu said as he ate some sunflower seeds.

"It's okay, President Su, that's not my thing…" An shook his head.

Originally, Su Yu and An only wanted to stay for a little while, but they bumped into someone they knew…

"Big Brother Yu!" A crisp female voice called out, and Su Yu turned around to see Wei Ying standing beside a tall, slim woman.

"You're here as well?" Su Yu asked.

"Ha, I'm single as well now so I'm here with friends… Why are you here?" Wei Ying had a lot of drinking buddies, so she was often at places like this. However, she was surprised to see Su Yu here since he rarely frequented clubs and bars these days.

"Oh, nothing, just here to hang out."

Wei Liao was one of Su Yu's best friends, so he had known Wei Ying since she was young, and she would call him Big Brother whenever she saw him. Their families were quite close as well.

"Can we sit with you guys?" Wei Ying smiled, and Su Yu nodded, taking a sip of his beer. "Why not?"

Wei Ying and her tall friend immediately sat down across from Su Yu and An.

"She's a good friend of mine, Zhang Wanyu. She's quite popular on the internet these days… She has more than 10 million followers and has been on TV shows." Wei Ying immediately introduced her buddy.

"Nice to meet you, Young Master Su," the girl said shyly; she was pretty but her features weren't distinct nor memorable.

Su Yu nodded but didn't respond. He turned his attention to the center of the dancing pool.

"Wanyu, you said you wanted to work in the entertainment industry, right? Yu is the owner of the biggest entertainment company in the country… All of the famous celebrities are from Imperial Star. You know Nie Lingxuan, right? She works for Su Yu as well," Wei Ying said proudly.

"I know, Young Master Su's an idol to girls like me." The girl smiled shyly at Su Yu.

"Big Brother Yu, people are saying that you're currently dating Nie Lingxuan, is it true?" Wei Ying asked absentmindedly.

"Of course not," Su Yu replied.

"I knew it! My brother would know if you were really dating again, but he said you weren't… you've been single for quite some time now, right? Have you ever thought about dating again?" Wei Ying asked as she made eye contact with her friend.

Zhang Wanyu looked at Su Yu, her heart filled with anticipation.

"Being single's good… women are a chore sometimes." Su Yu took a sip of his beer, leaving both women feeling more awkward than ever.

"Oh, right, Big Brother Yu, do you know why no one in C City could find roses today?" Wei Ying suddenly asked mysteriously.

Upon hearing this question, Su Yu's expression changed ever-so-slightly. His hand tightened around the beer bottle, but he didn't respond.
