Madam Qin woke up early and made dumplings with the maids.

Huo Mian had a simple breakfast and drove to South Side.

When she was almost there, her car broke down.

It was quite an awkward situation, Huo Mian managed to steer the car onto the curb and was just about to call the shop.

She saw a shimmering purple Ferrari parked beside her, and Liu Zhe got out of the car.

"What's wrong?"

"My car… Something is wrong." She pointed at it.

"Let me see." Liu Zhe approached her.

"You know how to repair cars?"

"A little."

After speaking, he walked to the front of her car and checked the engine.

"You need to repair this part, you need to go to the shop."

"Okay."

Huo Mian called the shop and was just about to call a cab.

"It's not that far, get in my car. I'll drive you," Liu Zhe smiled.

Huo Mian didn't really want to but got on anyway.

It was a sports car and only had two seats. Huo Mian had no choice but to sit beside him on the passenger seat. 

"Seatbelt," he reminded her with a smile.

She buckled up and they headed for South Side.

"I didn't think that you'd become a doctor," Liu Zhe said.

"That's been my dream since childhood, it's not that strange," Huo Mian looked out the window and replied.

"If Qin Chu didn't come back, would you have gotten married to your boyfriend?" Liu Zhe asked.

"You seem to know a lot about my past." Huo Mian looked at him with caution.

"If I told you that I've been interested in you for years, would you believe it?" He looked straight ahead.

Liu Zhe wasn't cold like Qin Chu, nor was he domineering like Su Yu.

He seemed more like a gentle scholar.

Huo Mian only faintly smiled upon hearing that.

"Why are you laughing? You don't believe me?" Liu Zhe looked at her.

"No, I just want to say that if it wasn't for the class rep reminding me at the reunion, I would've forgotten who you were."

After Huo Mian said that, Liu Zhe's expression changed slightly.
