Instantly, he opened the door and got out of the car; then he saw a traffic officer passing him on a motorcycle.

He stopped the officer. "Please loan the motorcycle to me. I'm Qin Chu."

Before the traffic officer could react, he rode off on the motorcycle through the traffic.

Stupefied, the officer couldn't speak for a long as he looked at the black Bentley left by Qin Chu.

Huo Mian entered the hospital. Instead of going to her office to read the file and change her clothes, she made a beeline to the reception desk and asked about the patient that had a heart attack.

Confirming it was true, she relaxed a bit.

"Where's the patent?"

"In the OR on the fifth floor; they are waiting for you, Deputy Director."

"Who called me?" Huo Mian asked the on-duty young nurses.

"It's me, Deputy Director." One of the young nurses raised her hand.

"Usually, you are not supposed to call me about such things; who made you call me?" Huo Mian asked her warily.

"I… Usually it's Assistant Chen Jie's job to call you. But she's not on duty. No one knew what to do in such an urgent situation, so I wondered if we should ask for your opinion." 

Huo Mian analyzed the young nurse's words to find loopholes.

"Do you have files on the case?"

"They are in your office," the young nurse answered.

"Do you have spare copies?" Huo Mian asked.

"Um… Yes, they are in the OR," answered the young nurse.

"Good. I'll go directly to the OR."

Then, Huo Mian changed into a white coat and walked upstairs.

The young nurse's eyes dimmed as she mumbled, "She's so smart and on guard."

It was a perfect plan and the last step was making Huo Mian enter her office. But she didn't do it.

Instead, she changed her clothes and went directly to the OR where there were many people.

The young nurse sent a WeChat message to Huo Yanyan in panic.

"Sis, something happened. She's very smart and didn't want to get the files in her office; she went directly to the OR. What should we do?"
