"I think they'll be fine. After all, they can't stay away from each other."1

Su Yu was Shen Mingxi's best friend. They had fallen out because of Huo Mian, but later Shen Mingxi realized he was used by Huo Yanyan and atoned for his mistake.

For the sake of their childhood friendship, Su Yu had forgiven him.

In the latest incident, Shen Mingxi was treated unfairly when he was beaten by Wei Liao after saving Wei Ying. 

Su Yu had seen Shen Mingxi's frustration.

"I don't think it's a good idea."

"Why?" 

Su Yu was surprised. He had thought everyone wanted to see Wei Ying and Shen Mingxi get back together, but Huo Mian seemed to have a different opinion. 

"With Shen Mingxi's personality, the kid won't be sent away… After all, he has raised her for some years and bonded with her. But if he doesn't send away the kid, they might be in trouble… I heard that the kid had been in a school in Singapore but was expelled and not allowed to return after she got herself into a big trouble. Why did Singapore, a country ruled by laws, forbid a child to return? Wei Ying is a bit too simple-minded…"

While others neglected this issue, Jiang Xiawei and Huo Mian had talked about it in private.

Jiang Xiaowei was a psychological expert and could see people's personalities clearly.

They had agreed that Tiantian's personality had been twisted by the blows she had received, including the changes of her living environment and the departures of her family members.

It didn't mean that she was like Huo Yanyan since the latter was a typical mentally diseased person who was ruined by her mother. 

In fact, Huo Yanyan was not smart nor scheming.

But Tiantian was different; after she returned, she played innocent and always gave people her puppy-dog eyes; she even changed her name into Shen Sitong.

All these weren't something that an ordinary child could do.

Jiang Xiaowei and Huo Mian agreed that Tiantian didn't tell Shen Mingxi all the things that had happened in Singapore and played innocent to gain his compassion.

Of course, they could only speculate about it in private.

Even if they told Shen Mingxi, he would probably not believe them because he had bonded with the kid.

They admitted Shen Mingxi was a kind man who had raised a kid not related to him for so long. 

But it wasn't a good thing for a man to be too soft-hearted.

It was one of the reasons that Huo Mian didn't think their remarriage was a good idea.

"Mian, you mean… if Huo Yanyan and her daughter were removed, they'd have a good life?"

"Yeah."

"That's easy. Didn't he say he'd deal with Huo Yanyan? As for the kid… It's easier. He can give her to a childless family for adoption. They'd have their own children sooner or later."

"It's easier said than done."

Huo Mian smiled and stopped talking about it. After all, this was just her speculation. Maybe they would have a peaceful and happy life.

In the evening when Han Yueyao returned to her dorm room in fatigue, she was surprised to see that Su Xiaoxiao was preparing a hot pot.

"Yaoyao, come on. We'll have hot pot."

"Um… Only the two of us?" Han Yueyao was worried that Su Xiaoxiao had invited Lin Hang. It would be embarrassing for the three of them to sit together.
