In the washroom of the compartment, Ding Lan had her arms around a director's neck.

"Director Sun, why haven't I received the notice of my role? I heard other actors and actresses are getting ready to enter the cast. Where's my notice?"

"Lanlan, to tell you the truth, you… might not enter it."

"Why not? You promised me."

Ding Lan was angry but knowing she couldn't offend the director, she could do nothing but beg.

Ding Lan was angry. She had used many connections for this movie and slept with three guys including the director, the producer, and one of the investors.

"Lanlan, you can't afford to offend Su Yu. If you did, apologize to him as soon as possible. Otherwise, your road to stardom is blocked," Director Sun persuaded her patiently.

"I got it. Thank you, Director Sun."

Ding Lan was furious but didn't dare to show it. She had heard that Han Yueyao was Su Yu's protégé but had dismissed it as a rumor. But it turned out the rumor was right.

She only stepped on Han Yueyao's foot, but Su Yu replaced her in the new movie to get revenge for his woman.

Ding Lan hadn't expected it since few men would do this for their mistresses.

Did it mean that Han Yueyao was truly Su Yu's beloved woman?
