Lu Yan took it as a joke and laughed carelessly.

What she said was true. Lu Yan was the target of many people and she was afraid to reveal her whereabouts.

If she had a high-profiled wedding, then hell would break out.

Lu Yan had never imagined that she'd have a wedding, so she laughed at Qiao Fei's suggestion, taking it as a joke. 

However, Qiao Fei had a lump in his throat when he heard her words.

How could he have the right to say he loved her when he couldn't even give her a wedding, which was a simple thing for ordinary people?

Putting down the Russian book he was reading, he walked to Lu Yan's side and held her gently in his arms from behind.

"Yan, I will give you a wedding; a wedding in broad light."

Lu Yan looked surprised and then she smiled warmly. 

"Okay. I'll… stay alive until that day comes."

Inside Shen Mingxi's house.

Tiantian had left three days ago. Shen Mingxi had asked a teacher of the school to pick her up and he had packed many clothes for the kid.

Jing City wasn't far compared with a foreign country.

Shen Mingxi was a bit sentimental but Tiantian didn't cry; instead, she was quite happy and took her favorite dolls and clothes with her.

After paying the expensive tuition and putting enough aside for one year's worth of life expenditures, Shen Mingxi gave Tiantian's mentor a credit card. Of course, the teacher wouldn't dare to use it more than necessary since all the transactions had records.

After they registered for marriage again, Shen Mingxi and Wei Ying invited their friends to have dinner in a low-profiled manner.

Wei Liao didn't attend the dinner, but he relented and let Jiang Xiaowei go.

While Shen Mingxi handled the files he had brought home from the company, Wei Ying kept him company and worked on a design schematic on her laptop.

After Tiantian was gone, the last obstacle between them was removed.

Getting back together, they cherished the second chance they had.

"Ying, are you tired?" Shen Mingxi looked at her.

Wei Ying shook her head.

"Do you want me to get you a cup of coffee?"

"I'll get it when I want it. Go back to your work."

Shen Mingxi nodded. Then he remembered something and said, "Tomorrow is the third day after our marriage. According to tradition, I must go and visit your family."

"It doesn't matter. You go to work and I'll go home and see them. My parents are… not angry now."

"Please don't. I can't break tradition. I'll go with you. I've prepared some gifts for them and we'll bring them to your family."

"Okay." Wei Ying was happy that Shen Mingxi thought of everything from her perspective.

After they finished their work, it was midnight and time to go to bed.

In fact, they hadn't slept together after they remarried.
