"Good job, Honey, how did you manage?" Qin Chu was in awe of Huo Mian's wits, and the fact that she got a sample from Jing De without anyone noticing, even him.

Once they have proof, they will be able to explain to Yang Meirong and Jing Zhixin that this person was not Jing De.

"So why do you look so worried?" Qin Chu tilted his head; Huo Mian looked like she had a lot on her mind.

"Honey, do you really think whoever's behind this will let something as amateur as a DNA test unravel their entire plan? If so, why would they go through the trouble of finding someone that looks exactly like Jing De?"

"I'm just worried that the results will be different from our expectations."

Qin Chu reached out and placed his hand on Huo Mian's leg. "Calm down, no one can alter DNA. What a giant biological joke do you think it will be it that were the case?"

Huo Mian was still quiet even after they arrived at home. Finally, Qin Chu decided that she should talk to Lu Yan.

"Yan…" Huo Mian smiled earnestly upon hearing Lu Yan's voice.

"Sis, it's late, why aren't you asleep yet?"

"I haven't been sleeping well, and wake up a million times each night."

"You're almost due, that's why. Sis, do you miss me?"

"You're kidding me, right? Of course I miss you!" Huo Mian scolded Lu Yan, but the corners of her mouth lifted into a big smile.

"I miss you so much too! How about this, I'll come visit you when you're about to pop."

"No," Huo Mian refused immediately.

"Why not? Are you worried that I'll mooch off you? I don't eat that much… just some lobster, shark fin, and king crab per day, that's all I need," Lu Yan joked.
