Professor Lu walked over anxiously and wrapped Lin Ya's hands in his to give her warmth.

Not wanting to see this scene, Huo Mian took a seat at the table.

"Sis, I'll sit next to you."

Lu Yan held Huo Mian's neck intimately.

Huo Mian looked at Lu Yan with love in her eyes. She didn't care that Lu Yan's mother was a clone or someone else; Lu Ya would always be her biological sister.

Messiah placed the photos before them on the table.

She was totally off her guard because she thought she was among her closest people.

Professor Lu looked at the photo with love in his eyes.

"Ya is as young as before. But I'm old."

"Nonsense. You're not old. In my heart, you always look like the first time I met you in Bali."

Lin Ya was a charmer.

Professor Lu smiled gently but didn't reply.

"Sis, you are being odd today… Why don't you talk to us? Do you feel any discomfort?"

Lu Yan finally found her sister was acting weirdly.

Huo Mian hurried to explain, "My baby is three days past the date of delivery. I'm worried."

"Hey. I thought it was something serious. This is very simple. Mom, Dad, you two are the best doctors in the world. Please do a check on my sister."

Huo Mian was afraid Lin Ya put drugs in the dishes, so she stopped Lu Yan.

"I… I'm afraid someone put poison in the food. Let's check them. Okay?"

Lu Yan took off a string of silver decorations from her wrist and tested the dishes one by one and found nothing unusual. 

"The dishes are fine. My tools are very good…" said Lu Yan.

"Mian, you're too nervous. No one can poison us in my territory. Come on and eat. You guys must be starving."

Lin Ya glanced at Huo Mian with an unreadable smile.

Then they picked up chopsticks and dug in.

"Mom, do you know my sister has adorable twins? You're a grandmother now. You're the most beautiful grandmother in the whole world."

Lu Yan uttered the praise from the bottom of her heart since she truly loved her mom. 

Having lost her mom at a very young age, she craved for motherly love from the depth of her soul.
