Qin Chu followed Huo Mian's gaze but was completely unfazed by the sight of the woman in front of them.1

So, with so much black on her, she looked like a black bear from far away...

She walked out alone, got into a taxi, and left.

Huo Mian saw another familiar face just as they got off the car.

It was Song Yixuan...

She was evidently surprised by the sight of Huo Mian as well.

She then lowered her head and quickly left the area. The Song cousins would stay away Huo Mian at all times. Those were the terms of their bet.

Song Yixuan and Yang Xiuping? Two unrelated people appearing together at the same Japanese restaurant?

Huo Mian couldn't help but become suspicious.

She didn't think about them anymore, however, as she followed Mr. Qin into the restaurant for their quiet meal.

The chef was from Japan, and since Qin Chu and Huo Mian had VIP status at the restaurant, he came out to serve the food himself.

Despite his broken Chinese, he didn't forget to praise. "Your girlfriend is very beautiful."

"She's my wife," Master Qin replied, as proud as could be.

Huo Mian pinched him in secret. "Why are you being so serious with him? He's not even from the city."

"I honestly don't care what country he's from. Wrong is wrong. There's a big difference between a girlfriend and a wife." Master Qin continued being a stickler, leaving Huo Mian feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

She felt like she was easily satisfied.

As far as she was concerned, true happiness was being with the one you love and eating the food you love.

Halfway through dinner, Su Yu also made an unexpected entrance into the restaurant.

This time, he wasn't with the guys, Wei Liao and Tang Chuan. Instead, he was with a few famous artists under Imperial Star.

Outsiders used to make fun of Imperial Star due to its imbalance of female and male artists. The company always had a lot of female celebrities when compared to their male counterparts.

Its popularity, however, was indisputable. Su Yu's management style was both efficient and modern, securing Imperial Star as a successfully-managed entertainment company.

Because of its amazing reputation, many theatre graduates did everything they could to enter Imperial Star.

Today, Su Yu only had with him Jian Tong, Jiang Ye, and two rising female stars.

As the boss of Imperial Star, it was normal for him to take his artists out for food. Since Jian Tong liked Japanese food, they came here.

To his surprise, however, Qin Chu and Huo Mian were there as well...

Jian Tong regretted her choice the moment she stepped into the restaurant. She knew that, as long as Huo Mian was there, President Su's eyes would wander.

"President Su… how about we go somewhere else? I don't want Japanese food anymore." Jian Tong reacted quickly, unwilling to eat at the same restaurant as Huo Mian, since it would be awkward for everyone if they stayed, especially President Su.

Su Yu, however, remained silent...

Jiang Ye spoke first, "Let's just eat here, this place is really nice. I'm starving and don't want to run around."

"Let's just stay here. You guys get seated first. I'm going to go say hello."
