“Grandma, does dad want to abandon me?” Xiangyan asked.

Xiangyan lowered his head with tears. He didn’t dare to misbehave anymore.

“Come on, Xiangyan. You’re a treasure of your daddy. He is reluctant to leave you. You should recover soon so that your dad could focus on his work.” Li Yunhong comforted him.

Chen Qian touched his head and persuaded him gently as well. She was hoping Xiangyan could consider about his family more.

“I thought that Mo Yichen didn’t answer my call since Li Yunhong didn’t want him to keep in touch with me or he did it deliberately. Manla is right. I can’t think too much when something happens.” Gu Yan thought.

“What are you doing? Why don’t you get in?” A doctor was confused to see them hiding there like thieves.

“Hush…” Manla pulled the doctor to the corner and explained something to him. Then the doctor became excited and even showed a “go for it” gesture to them. Gu Yan admired Manla so much since she could deal with embarrassment at any time.

“Hey, what did you say to the doctor? It seemed that you two knew each other before and he appreciates you.” Gu Yan was confused.

Gu Yan pulled Manla’s clothes and begged her.

“No, I can’t tell you. You would definitely beat me for that.” Manla showed an evil smile and raised her eyebrows.

“No, I won’t. Just tell me.” Gu Yan said.

“Really?” Manla didn’t believe her.

“I swear to you.” Gu Yan raised her hands and pretended to swear, trying her best to hold back her anger.

“I said that I am playing games with my sister. She has got brain damage. Others can’t speak during game time. Otherwise, the consequences would be serious. I should obey my sister’s wills. Then we discussed about your illness. He is so handsome when he is earnest.” Gu Yan replied.
