"Shh!" She placed her finger on her lips.

"Ji Jingchen, don't be angry anymore. I'll be obedient and wait for you at home in the future. Don't be angry anymore."

Ji Jingchen was stunned again. Ji Jingchen felt like a stone was pressing down on his heart when thinking about the past. 

His voice was gentle. "I won't be mad at you in the future. Let me tell you this. I love you."

Du Jiuyuan revealed a satisfied smile. "Ji Jingchen, you're so lovely."

"Am I lovely? Then why did you divorce me?"

Du Jiuyuan huffed and hugged him. "I won't divorce you! I won't divorce you ever again in the future..."

Du Jiuyuan opened her eyes and found herself in Ji Jingchen's room the next day. She couldn't remember what had happened yesterday, and she couldn't help but hold her forehead— she drank too much yesterday.

"You're awake." A low and cold voice came from the door.

Du Jiuyuan was stunned. Ji Jingchen didn't say anything else and turned to go downstairs. When Du Jiuyuan changed and went downstairs, Ji Jingchen was already sitting at the dining table.

"Nothing happened yesterday. The maids changed your clothes. Come and have your breakfast."

Du Jiuyuan sat at the dining table and ate without saying anything else.

"Are you going back to the studio?"

Du Jiuyuan nodded. "Yes, I am."

"I'll ask the driver to send you back."
