Seeing as how this was such a smart solution, neither the Lan family nor a student with such abilities such as Ling Chuxi would be offended and leave the academy.

When everyone around them heard the teacher's judgement though, they all fell silent. It was obvious it was a misjudgment. It was a monster beast's egg! Such a precious item was actually judged to be part of a tie for first place. Everyone could tell the teacher was siding with Lan Xinyu.

Shu Yuanfeng who stood behind Lan Xinyu breathed out a sigh of relief. It looked as though there was still room to turn things over after all.

Lan Xinyu's face went from a pale white to a sickly green. How could she not understand that the teacher was speaking blindly with his eyes wide open to side with her?
