3"Yep." Huangfu Qingjue smiled as he walked closer to Ling Chuxi. When he saw Ling Chuxi waiting for him, a warm feeling welled up in Huangfu Qingjue's heart. It was as if his wife was waiting for her husband to return home.

They had been together for such a long time, long enough for her to know that based on his background and behaviour, he should have left her side a long time ago. Although Ling Chuxi had never asked, she knew that he must have had too many difficulties and problems to solve. It was only a matter of time before he had to leave. However, she trusted that no matter for how long he had to leave, he would always return to her.

"OK, be careful. I'll wait for you," said Ling Chuxi with a gentle smile on her face as she waved him farewell.

Huangfu Qingjue nodded heavily and flew away, soon disappearing from Ling Chuxi's sight.

Ling Chuxi held the jade pendant tightly in her hand. Though she felt a little disappointed, there was more warmth and anticipation in her heart.

To part only meant that they would one day reunite.

She was looking forward to meeting Qingjue again.
