The envoy kept shouting but Baili Han had a grim expression. His gaze was firm and he did not admit defeat.2

Baili Han did not say a word but he looked even more determined.

Ling Chuxi looked at Baili Han's current situation and felt anxious. The price was too huge to pay.

"We admit defeat, we admit defeat!" The envoy was still shouting.

Duan Qingchou sneered. "What you said doesn't count. He is not admitting defeat yet."

Baili Han roared angrily and held his sword, then struck out at Duan Qingchou. His stance was steady and resolute.

"Hmph. You have no care of your own life!" Duan Qingchou shot Baili Han a venomous look, a murderous aura emanating from his sword.

Baili Han swung his sword back to protect himself, his actions even slower than before. His simple sword that held a quiet majesty looked as solid as a rock.

Unfortunately, Duan Qingchou's swordsmanship was even swifter and fiercer. Every move of his targeted vital points on Baili Han's body. The Battle Qi on his sword was also becoming more powerful and a piercing sound filled the arena.

Baili Han was suddenly engulfed by Battle Qi so thick that even the crowd below the arena could feel its overwhelming pressure. Baili Han's actions became slower, and the sword in his hand seemed to be getting heavier.

At the next second, Duan Qingchou's sword pierced a few parts of Baili Han's body, leaving deep wounds. Fresh blood dripped onto the ground, leaving strange red patterns there. His face became even paler, but his gaze was still as steady and persistent as before. The long sword in his hand was slowly drawn back to protect the vital points on his body.

Naturally, Ling Chuxi understood his actions. At that moment, Baili Han's movements had become slower - they were all defensive stances. He wanted her to figure out the secret of Duan Qingchou's Battle Qi.

But, if things went on like this….

She had seen Baili Han's determination and knew that no matter how she persuaded him, he would never admit defeat and leave the fighting ring. Duan Qingchou's sword flashed again, and more wounds appeared on Baili Han's body. Even though his vital points were not injured, his whole body was stained red with fresh blood.

There was a sharp ringing noise, and a ray of Qi exploded as Duan Qingchou slashed his sword at Baili Han. Baili Han was forced to retreat a few steps, his chest cut so deeply that the white of his bones could almost be seen. Without waiting for him to regain his stability, Duan Qingchou lunged forward and ruthlessly smashed Baili Han's lower abdomen with his palm. Baili Han was sent flying and landed heavily on the side of the fighting ring. The ground beneath his body was soon covered in blood.

Baili Han leaned on his sword for support to stand up, but after struggling for a few times, he fell to the ground without an ounce of strength left.
