He was filthy rich. What was not attractive about that?

Luosang twitched. He really knew how to push her buttons.

Luosang pouted. She couldn't stand him, and never had she met anyone who forced her to be his girlfriend.

When she handed over her meal card, he finally relaxed his expression, "Top up twenty thousand dollars for me," he said to the cashier.

The cashier was stunned, "What?"

"He misspoke. He meant two hundred dollars," Luosang pulled Nian Junting aside, "What are you doing? I'll never be able to finish the card value even if I eat here every day till I graduate."

Luosang was speechless, but she wasn't going to let him get his way, "You can't waste money like that no matter how rich you are! If you go through with this, then I'm not going to be grateful at all. In fact, I'll stop talking to you."

NIan Junting looked at her and burst into a light chuckle, "We've only just started dating and you already want to control my finances. Alright alright, since you're acting so coquettish, I'll do as you say."

"When was I flirting with you?" Luosang said incredulously. She was blushing a bright red, "I'm not trying to control your expenditure. I'm just telling you what I think is the right thing to do."

Women like to say one thing and mean another, Nian Junting thought. He was sure that her high-pitched intonations just now were her way of playing coy with him.

"Fine, I'll heed your advice on how to spend money more sensibly ok? Limited to the smaller things of course. I'll still call the shots on the big-ticket items," Nian Junting concluded.
