They were both in a long-distance relationship. Yan Su was even more miserable than Nian Xi. 

Luosang admired them for being able to hold on to their relationship. 

"What are you thinking about?" Nian Junting asked. 

"Em… I'm thinking. If one day, we're far away from each other, how long would we continue to stay in love with each other?" Luosang sighed. 

"Why would we be apart? Where are you going?" Nian Junting immediately frowned. 

"I was just wondering," said Luosang. 

"There is no wondering. We won't ever be apart. Wherever I go, I'll bring you. If you want to go somewhere without me, I'll break your legs," Nian Junting snorted and said. 

Luosang touched her legs gingerly, then rolled her eyes. Her legs were constantly under a threat.

Back in the villa, Sister Lan and Steward Wu weren't there. It was Christmas Eve, so they both went back to their families. 

Luosang opened the fridge and found all sorts of fresh food. When she worked at the villa, she had heard from Sister Lan that every month, different types of fresh foods would be delivered here by air from the supermarkets in Japan and Europe. 

She picked beef steak, sashimi, and a large lobster, as they were easy to prepare. 

Nian Junting walked over and sighed with surprise. "You can even cook lobster? Amazing! How are you gonna prepare it? Lobster sashimi? Fry? Grill? Or steam?"

"Eh…" Facing his sparkling eyes, Luosang was a little unconfident. "I haven't tried cooking lobster. I plan to boil it, then eat it with sauce." 

"Yeah? It must be delicious." Nian Junting was really looking forward to it. He believed that eating the food she made would be way better than eating in a restaurant.

Luosang didn't try stopping him as he was showing great interest. 

After the lobster was steamed, the two of them set the table and began eating. 

Luosang picked up the knife and fork. Seeing that Nian Junting was still wearing the scarf, she couldn't help but say with a frown. "We're going to eat now. Just take that off. You sweated earlier when cooking." 

"Yeah? You're wrong," Nian Junting ignored her and instead started cutting the steak. 

Luosang sighed, and began eating the steak that Nian Junting fried as well. The steak looked good, but after trying it, she found that it was terribly overcooked. 

It was justs as she had thought; Nian Junting wasn't cut out for cooking. 

Nian Junting swallowed a piece of steak, then said excitedly, "I haven't fried steak in six or seven years. I'm surprised that my steak-frying skills are as good as they were before." 

"Six… or seven years?" Luosang nearly choked on the steak. 

"Yeah," he replied. 

She didn't know what to say. 

"It's good, isn't it? Have some more." Nian Junting cut off a piece of his steak, then handed it to Luosang, saying, "Open your mouth; let me feed you." 

Luosang slowly opened her mouth, then chewed and swallowed the steak with some difficulty. 

Usually, Nian Junting's taste for food was normal. Luosang just couldn't understand why he was so confident about his steak.
