Luosang stayed quiet. Was it such an absurd thought? For a man to not date for so many years, he must have either been hung up on his ex-girlfriend or abnormal.

"Let me ask you, do you still love Yi Jingxi?" Nian Junting asked.

"I told you long ago, I don't."

"It hasn't been longer than two years since you broke up with him, and you say that you don't love him anymore. It's been seven or eight years since I was with Leng Shuangwei. Luosang was again speechless. She then asked, "Then why didn't you find another girlfriend?"

Luosang braced herself and continued to ask, "What about Leng Shuangwei? Did you date her because she was perfect, or was she imperfect like me?"

We topped our academics, marksmanship, and our looks as well. Our families knew each other, and we understood each other well. At the end of the day, Nian Junting had dated Leng Shuangwei only because she was perfect and would serve his future generations well genetically. "Alright, let's sleep." Nian Junting saw that she was silent and lowered his head to kiss her. His hands started to reach beneath her pajamas. After a while, he was not satisfied. "Why are you wearing pajamas? Is there a need to? They'll come off eventually."

"Did I say we were going to do anything tonight?" Luosang reached for a pillow and threw it at his belly. She kicked out with her legs, pushing him to the edge of the bed. "You're sleeping on the sofa tonight."

Nian Junting was startled. "Why? Wasn't I quite clear earlier?"

"Yes, you were. But I'm not happy with you tonight. Do you have a problem with that?" Luosang stared at him.

"You're being unreasonable." Nian Junting was beginning to feel a little upset.

"Yes, who's fault is it that I'm imperfect? Imperfect women tend to be unreasonable." Luosang chuckled sarcastically.

Nian Junting looked at her for a while before dragging himself over to the sofa glumly with a hmph. Unable to stretch his long legs out on the five-foot-long sofa, Nian Junting could only curl himself into a ball and drape the blanket over his stomach.
