After all, the film and television base was huge. It would be very unprofitable if there were only tourists, but no film crews. Spending over ten billion on a huge holiday resort like this was not reasonable. Even though some tourists could be expected now, over time this place would become less appealing if there were no stars. 

Everybody was clearly aware of that. It was also one of the main subjects under discussion in the shareholder meeting. 

Yi Jingxi wore a slightly sullen look. 

He knew that Nian Junting was the one who made the film and television become like this. However, the other shareholders had all been staying silent about it and taken Nian Junting's side. After all, Nian Junting had contacts in the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. Because of him, none of Yi Group's works could pass the censorship. 

The fund had stopped flowing, and Yi Group was now on the verge of collapse. 

He had tried external financing, but under the current situation, no one was willing to take the risk. 

The other shareholders would only blame Yi Jingxi for making Nian Junting an enemy, if they knew all the details. 

A shareholder called Mr. Lu started the meeting, saying, "When we invested in the film and television base, Mr. Yi told us there is no risk in this project. But in the end… All our money is stuck in this project."

Yi Jingxi forced a smile on his pretty face, saying, "I've thought about it. If there is no way to attract more film crews, we can turn the base into a holiday resort to attract tourists…"

"How many tourists can you attract?" 

Mr. Fang interrupted him, knocked on the table and said, "We have plenty of great views and tourist destinations in Yunnan. This film and television base is well developed with good views, but it still can't be compared with those famous scenic spots. We can only attract tourists who live nearby. Who would travel a long way to this place? Mr. Yi, the money that we've spent on this film and television base is not billions. It's over tens of billions. We invested in it for good profits, not for you to run a charity." 

"That's right," said some people, agreeing with him. 

Yi Jingxi tightened his face and said, "Those kinds of problems only occurred in the recent couple of months. No matter which industry you invested into, the profit is always fluctuating…"

"There is no profit this time. We are losing money," another shareholder said, not being able to help but join the conversation, "We have so many staff members and security people in this place, and we need to pay for the property management. Some ancient-style buildings need to be kept in good repair. All these give rise to the expenditure."

"All right, we're only having dinner. The shareholder meeting isn't started yet. Everybody, calm down," Nian Junting raised his glass, saying with a bland, yet very influential voice, "Stop giving Mr. Yi a hard time. He's young after all. There're too many responsibilities on his shoulders. He's working hard and look at him. He has even lost weight lately." 

Yi Jingxi gripped his glass. 

If Nian Junting didn't push him harder and harder, how would he be so deeply troubled? He had even lost his appetite. 

The food was served slowly. While chatting with the other shareholders, Nian Junting didn't forget to pick fishbones or peel shrimps for Luosang. 

The others all noticed. A female shareholder said jokingly, "Mr. Nian, you're so nice to your girlfriend. You even pick fishbones for her." 

"Yeah, I've spoiled her," Nian Junting looked at Luosang and gave a sweet grin. 

"Your girlfriend is so lucky." Mr. Lu picked up his wineglass, stood up and said, "Come on, little girl, let me propose a toast to you."
