"I'm good," Nian Xi said. "Mr. Jiang, for your safety, we need to put a few surveillance cameras and covert listening devices on your personal belongings that you'll bring to Paris." 

Jiang Yuning nodded. 

"Please let us know if we caused you any inconvenience," Nian Xi reminded him. 

Jiang Yuning shook his head. 

"You can go and rest now. We'll do the rest." Nian Xi stood up. 

Jiang Yuning's mood was up as well. 

At first, Nian Xi thought that he would go to work. However, he followed behind them when Uncle Han guided them to his bedroom. 

Zhan Hong and the others didn't say anything about it. After all, Jiang Yujing had the right to know where the devices would be. 

As the devices were installed, Zhan Hong talked to Jiang Yuning about the security plan. However, after a long speech, he found that Jiang Yuning wasn't listening at all. With no other choice, he asked Nian Xi to repeat it to him. 

At lunchtime, the chef served Chinese dishes, including spicy boiled pork slices, sliced beef and potato, and pork stew. 

Nian Xi was surprised by the rich lunch. 

Jiang Yuning seemed to have memorized what she said last time.

"Wait, Mr. Jiang can't eat spicy food," Uncle Han said, but it was already too late. 

Jiang Yuning closed his mouth and chewed the pork. In the next second, his entire face turned red, and his eyes became watery, as if raindrops had come from his eyes. Soon, his lips became red as well. This made him look even prettier than a girl. Looking at him, the others were stunned. 

"Just spit it out." Nian Xi was a little stunned too. Looking at the pitiful Jiang Yuning, she really wanted to pet him. 

Jiang Yuning shook his head. He wanted to find his pen, but the hot flavor in his mouth was torturing him. While gasping for air, he said, "You fed it to me. I don't want to spit it out." 

He swallowed the meat, then quickly stood up and walked to the bathroom. 

He had no idea that what he said to Nian Xi made her want to look for a hole to crawl in. 

Huo Lizhi snorted and said, "And you said that he doesn't like you. Isn't that obvious enough?" 

Nian Xi couldn't stand his gaze any longer, so she argued with him, "When did I say that he doesn't like me? You've been saying that to yourself the whole time. I just didn't like your disdainful attitude. Besides, what's so wrong about the fact that he likes me? I'm pretty and capable. Isn't that normal for guys to like me?"

"All right. Stop." Zhan Hong glared at Huo Lizhi, then said to him, "Nian Xi is right. She's single, so is Mr. Jiang. No rule says they can't be together." After a short pause, he said to Nian Xi in earnest, "You need to control yourself. Don't throw him into your bed."
