"I'm always nice." Mo Liuxi lowered his head and started peeling a crawfish. You'll find that I'm nicer than you think I am, he thought. 

Yan Su pretended not to hear what he said. She put on gloves and picked up a crawfish. "Why is the crawfish cold?" she asked after she touched it.

"Yeah, it's cold," Mo Liuxi nodded. 

He bought the crawfish three hours ago. 

He, of course, could not tell her the truth. With a frown, he said, "I guess the restaurant owner didn't give me freshly cooked crawfish. I'll never go to that restaurant again." 

Yan Su nodded, then lowered her head to glance at the name of the restaurant, which was written on the plastic bag. She told herself that she would never go to that restaurant either.

Seeing her reaction, Mo Liuxi slightly turned. The corners of his mouth curved into a smile.

This silly girl believes anything I say, he thought. 

"What were you and Lu Kang talking about in the car just now? I happen to notice that his car was parked there for a while. Was he telling you that he likes you?" Mo Liuxi asked while eating the crawfish. He pretended to be casual. "He seems to fancy you, and you went to watch a movie with him. Do you like him too?" 

Yan Su shook her head and responded with, "No. I just wanted to make it clear with him. We can't be together." 

"You're right." Mo Liuxi nodded. "He is nice, but too old for you. I think you better be with someone from school, or from your circle, so there won't be a generation gap between you and your partner. Of course, by circle, I didn't mean the circle of singers. I meant the whole entertainment circle, like the circle of the show business."

He was talking about himself. He was from her school and was a part of the entertainment circle. 

As a director, he had set a foot in that circle. 

He would become an internationally famous director sooner or later. A director and a singer could make a perfect match. 

"The entertainment circle? I never thought about that." Thinking about Shi Xiang, Yan Su had a trace of sadness emerging from her eyes. "That circle is way too complicated, and messy. Many people in that circle can't resist temptation. Many of them cheat on their partners and betray their friends. I'll never be with someone from that circle." 

Mo Liuxi dropped the crawfish in his hand. 

That would be a big problem. He was meant to become a director and couldn't possibly become anything else. 

"Not everyone is like that. Look at me. Am I not keeping my nose clean? And you. You have been resisting the lures too, haven't you?"

He was trying to say that in the entire entertainment circle, they were the perfect match for each other. 

"Me?" Yan Su gave a bitter smile and said, "I am like this now, but I'll probably change in the future. Who knows what I might turn into? As for you. You're so talented, and you own a film company. You'll be the one pursued by the others. I guess money doesn't mean that much to you. You'll probably meet a pretty girl in the future…" 

"I won't." Mo Liuxi suddenly interrupted her. 

He spoke so loudly that Yan Su gave a start. The crawfish in her hand was squeezed, and the juice splashed onto her face, seeping into her eyes. 

She hurriedly took off her gloves and wiped her eyes with the backs of her hands. 

The harder she wiped, the worse it hurt. 

"Don't move. You have oil on the back of your hands too." Mo Liuxi held her hands. Her hands were so small and soft that he didn't want to let them go. 

After spending a few seconds in a daze, Mo Liuxi finally came back to his senses. He stood up and said, "Sit here. I'll get you a wet towel." 

Yan Su nodded. Her eye sockets were red, making her look very vulnerable. 

Mo Liuxi gave her another glance, then quickly brought over a wet towel, gently wiping her right eye with it.
