She hurriedly moved backward, stood up, and ran toward the car. 

Seeing her run away in a flurry, Mo Liuxi wanted to laugh. He had done nothing but kiss her lips, yet she was scared so badly.

Yan Su ran up to the car in a panic, then turned back and found that Mo Liuxi wasn't chasing after her. She sighed with relief, then blushed when she heard Mo Liuxi laughing. 

She was aware that, as someone three years older than him, her reaction was not appropriate. 

First of all, how come she'd forgotten to dodge when he kissed her? 

Second, she was far too flurried when she'd run away. 

She buried her face in her palms, wanting to bury herself. 

"Stop running or people might see you. Come here, let's have some barbecue." Mo Liuxi waved at her. Kissing her was like kissing honey. Mo Liuxi felt that not only were his lips sweetened, but also his heart. 

He was more certain about his feelings toward her than ever before.

"Don't forget to cut the eggplant for me. Add more garlic." After saying that, Mo Liuxi stretched out on the lawn to eat some fruits.

How could he be like that? Didn't he just tell her that he liked her and that he would start pursuing her from that moment on? 

Was that how he pursued a girl? 

"Why are you looking at me?" Mo Liuxi crossed his legs and said, "I just told you that I like you, but don't forget that we're out here having a barbecue because you wanted to thank me for my help." 

"I didn't say anything…" Yan Su turned and continued grilling the eggplant. 

It was good, actually. She felt less stressed than she had before.

It was about twelve when they were finally sated by the food. 

They spent a short while resting, then headed back. 

Yan Su needed to fly to another city in the afternoon for an event. 

"When will you be back?" Mo Liuxi asked her. 

"In a couple of days," Yan Su murmured. 

"Give me your phone." Mo Liuxi reached for her. 

Yan Su shook her head and asked, "What do you want? You're already my WeChat friend. I can't just give you my phone…" 

Mo Liuxi refused to listen but grabbed her phone, unlocked it with her thumb, then dialed his own number. 

Soon, his phone started ringing. 

He saved his own number on her phone, then threw her phone back to her. 

"You are… so rude," Yan Su complained. "You can't just take my phone…"
