The door wasn't open. Mo Liuxi was trying to take off his shirt. His back was to the door. One of his sleeves was cut off. His injured arm was wrapped in a thick layer of gauze and wasn't able to bend. He tried pretty hard but failed to take off the shirt, gasping for air by the end. 2

"Don't move. Let me do it." Yan Su hurriedly went over to him. 

She'd watched his arm be stitched back together and could imagine how painful that had been.

"Are you gonna wear this pajama top?" Yan Su spotted a pajama top on the bed and walked over to pick it up.

His fingertips brushed her skin. It was burning hot. 

He pretended not to feel it and continued talking. "I helped you because I was angry when I saw that man treat you like that. I was also surprised when I heard you argue with Mr. Jia. I learned something new about you. You are tough when you need to be, and you have principles you stick to. You'll never give up on your bottom line. Su, I can't believe that I fell for you, such a wonderful girl."

Hearing his compliments, Yan Su dropped her head lower and lower. Her head was nearly against his chest. 

If a girl's body temperature could go high enough to cook herself, she would already be cooked. 

She told herself that she could not stay in his room or she might not have the strength to resist what he would probably do next.
