Nian Junting hardly acted like that. Luosang looked at him, wanting to laugh. "Are you sure he'll agree to give you one?" she said. "I don't think you two are getting along well."

"I'm his future brother-in-law. Shouldn't he be listening to me?" Nian Junting said.

Luosang snorted scornfully in her head. I doubt that she thought. But of course, she wouldn't say that out loud to her husband.

They arrived at Nian Xi's place to find that Murong Cheng was there too. The robot was pouring her a cup of tea. She liked it so much that she could barely stop smiling.

Murong Cheng furrowed her brows when she turned to see Nian Junting and Luosang. "Why are you two alone? Where's Apple?"

"We didn't bring him," said Nian Junting. "I got off work, picked up Luosang, and came straight here. We didn't go home. Where's Jiang Yuning? Why isn't he here?"

"He's been working on a project with Xia City University. Now is the crucial moment for the project." Nian Xi sat on the couch and explained lazily saying, "I invited you guys here to meet my Big Jiang-jiang, so you don't have to always envy me on WeChat."

She pointed at the desserts and juice on the table and continued with, "Try these. Big Jiang-jiang made these."

"These are… not worse than what Sister Lan can do," Luosang exclaimed.
