"I seduced her," Mo Liuxi interrupted and looked over at Yang Ziqian with disdain. He hoped that she wouldn't bring up irrelevant names at that moment.1

"Yes, of course." Lu Tao nodded her head fervently and continued, "The two of you two should buy us all a meal. You've kept this from us for so long. What do you say, Director Li?"

"Yeah," Li Ming looked over at Mo Liuxi knowingly. Look at this guy — he was holding onto his girl so tightly. He wouldn't have been able to do that without him.

Before their trip to Venice, he had to choose between Yan Su and Ye Yunyang. Ye Yunyang was a senior in the industry but he chose Yan Su to go for the sake of Mo Liuxi. Later during the Beijing press conference, he had Shi Xiang distracted on purpose as well. "Liuxi, it wouldn't be right if you didn't buy me a meal."

Mo Liuxi frowned. He could understand why he should buy Li Ming a meal, but he didn't see why he had to extend that generosity to the others as well. Apart from Ji Nuanyi, nobody else there had helped him in any way.

Although they were colleagues, things were different now. He had a woman and a kid. From then on, he would only spend money on things that he should be spending on.

Yan Su knew that he was going to act petty when she saw his expression. She quickly interrupted him, "Director Lu, you are right. We should buy everyone a meal. It's also to apologize for causing any trouble when we were bickering in Venice. We'll buy everyone supper later after the movie premiere."

"Yan Su is real generous!" Lu Tao laughed. "I was just complaining about dinner just now. Great! We'll all save some space for a sumptuous meal later."

"Great, I'll eat less too," said Yang Ziqian as she put down her plate.

Ji Nuanyi chuckled, "Congratulations! I knew from a long time ago that you two would be together."

Yan Su looked at her with her eyes widened, "You..."

"You two were so obvious. Anyone who had half a brain could sense it," Cheng Sheng smiled. "What were you two doing when you crossed the Bridge of Sighs in Venice?"

Yan Su's brain was buzzing now. She was so embarrassed that she could dig a hole in the ground and hide there. She thought that no one had seen them. "You guys..."

"We were all just pretending not to know," Yang Ziqian laughed. "Nuanyi told us beforehand on the boat."

Mo Liuxi raised his eyebrows at Ji Nuanyi.

Ji Nuanyi raised her glass filled with fruit juice. "No need to thank me, just buy me a couple more suppers."

Mo Liuxi said casually, "I thought I bought you ice cream that day?"

Ji Nuanyi kept quiet.

Damn. She had never met any man who was pettier than him.

Everyone was laughing. Besides Yan Su, only Shi Xiang had fallen silent. He turned around and started looking at a row of desserts, as if in a trance.

Although he already knew a long time back that Yan Su no longer had feelings for him, his heart ached to watch her with another man in front of everybody.

Yan Su glanced over at him from behind and let out a soft sigh.

The night went on.

After all the jokes and banter, Yan Su walked to the side to grab some food.

Mo Liuxi quickly followed behind her and wrapped his arms around her from behind, in front of everybody. He said, "I want some blueberries, take more."

Yan Su turned her head to look at his chiseled and handsome face. She said, abashed, "There are so many people around. Everyone is watching us… aren't you hugging me a little too tight?"
