ARE YOU AFRAID?
"I don't agree to participate," Lou said that smugly, as he smirked at Cane, who finally met with his eyes. "I don't think the deal will benefit me."1
There he was, trying to provoke Cane again with his antics.
"Sir Lou. I can't get it, which part is not benefit you?" Alpha Dristan asked politely, but Cane could sense he was going to lose his patience with this merchant.
It was not about the deal, it was only Lou was being difficult on purpose.
"Alpha Dristan, can you leave us alone for a while?"
"I have explained to him in a simple way," alpha Dristan retorted, thinking Cane assumed his method of explanation was not good enough to make the merchant understood what they offered to him.
"It's okay. A simple way for you still seems too difficult for him to understand, therefore, you should lower yourself to the level of his way of thinking," Cane said calmly, as if he was not insulting the merchant openly right now.
