"What did you say?" Cane's voice turned very dark when he heard what Dean reported to him. 

He was worried because he couldn't find Iris in their bedroom or in the study room, usually she would be there at this our and stopped roaming around outside the pack house. 

However, when Cane was about to look for her and send people to find her whereabouts, Dean came to inform him that the luna was in district eleven, the place was close to the fortress, where the warriors, who guarded the fortress used to gather. There were a lot of taverns there. 

"The luna, Aliana and the seven warriors also gamma Ethan were heading there," Dean reported, he flinched to feel the hostility that came from the alpha, he prayed the safety of the other warriors for taking their luna there. 

Without a second thought, Cane shifted into his black beast and stormed toward district eleven. God forbade what he was going to do to those people. 

Meanwhile, Aliana helped Iris to try her alcohol. "Try this, this is the best seller here," she said happily, as she introduced the luna the signature of the alcohol that was produced by their pack. "Can you hold your drink?"

"Of course, she can," Ethan chimed in. "From what I heard, the alpha has been teaching her how to drink."

Iris frowned. "No. He is not." She didn't know from where Ethan got that twisted information. 

"But, I heard you got drunk when you were in the Riverside pack," Ethan said, he must be talking about the welcoming party that alpha Gill threw for them when they were there. 

Iris blushed when she remembered that certain memory, because what happened next was so out of character of her. 

"How is the taste?" Aliana asked her. "Try this one too. This is tea, but the leaves had been infused with alcohol, so even though the taste almost like mint tea, but if you drank too much, you can get drunk too." She explained and Iris learned a few things more about the Howling Wolf pack. 

Aside from magic stone mines, actually Howling Wolf pack had another resource of income from this alcohol tea, though it couldn't compare with the sale from the magic stone, but a decade ago, it gave a significant number to the pack. 

Aliana explained all of that to Iris, so she would be aware of their pack revenue. 

"It's only our pack that produced this kind of tea in this continent, but it's hard to do business with our situation and the current war that is happening in the capital city." Aliana watched as Iris was deep in thought and smiled secretly. "If there is a merchant, who can distribute this and introduce this tea again, it will be great."

The first thing that came to Iris's mind when she heard the word merchant was Lou, but after that, Aliana dropped the conversation about the tea and talked about the pastry. 

"In the dinning hall, you used to be served high quality cakes and food, but actually, there are a lot of cheap food that the commoners enjoy, yet because this kind of food can't be served for the people with high status, thus we can only find it here, in this place. Try it, luna. We call this Spicy Moon." Aliana gave a red cake to her, it was the shape of half moon and the taste was a mixture of spicy and sweet taste. "Do you like it?" 

Aliana laughed when she saw Iris grimaced. 

"Too spicy for me," Iris said. "But, if the spiciness can be toned down, I think it's a nice cake."

Aliana's eyes lit up. "I will ask for them to tone the spiciness down." She immediately stood up, but before that, she poured another drink for her. "Come, drink this, this is Ale, guard and warrior used to drink this because it's cheap."

After that, Aliana went to talk to someone to make another Spicy Moon for Iris. 

"I know what you up to," Ethan said, as he stood up beside Aliana. He tilted his head and stared at the woman with a curious look. 

"Oh, please. You are thinking too much." Aliana rolled her eyes. "I only want the luna to know more about the pack that she leads, since the alpha will not explain such thing to her. I don't want someone clueless and ignorant to be the luna of the pack. At the very least, she has to know our revenue."

"I ask her to come here to let loose a little bit, but you managed to take the advantage of the situation. 

Aliana grinned. "She loves to learn a new thing and I can see she is quite curios about her surroundings."

"How do you know that? You only meet her a handful of time."

Aliana shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "If you took care of children, you will have this instinct about their personalities. Children are very blunt with their emotions and in a way, luna Iris is the same. She is not like our alpha, who full of schemes. You can see how her eyes lit up upon seeing something that she like, or how they dimmed when she saw something she didn't like."

Ethan grinned, he loved to hear how Aliana saw the world and thing around her. He could be a good listener too when he found something, or someone he liked to listen to. 

Meanwhile, following Aliana's lead, Dyne and Eron poured more and more Ale into Iris's glass. 

"How do you think it's taste, luna?" Eron asked with a grin when he saw Iris giggled, while drinking her third glass. 

"It tastes nice, I like it," Iris replied, she looked a little bit loosened up and talk more to them. "I want more."

"I don't know that you will like this cheap alcohol," Dyne said. He was about to pour more Ale into her glass, but Zephyr stopped him.  2

"That's enough, she is drunk," he warned Dyne. 

"But, isn't that the purpose for coming here?" Kian chimed in. He stared at his happy luna and found himself smiling as well. Her laugh and smile were contagious, and she did a lot with the alcohol in her system. She looked less gloomy with everything that happened recently. 

"The alpha will have your head if you make her drank to oblivion." Zephyr glared at Kian sternly. "More so, whether she is the luna or not, it's not appropriate to make a woman drunk like this."

Hearing that, they immediately put away the alcohol from Iris, which made the luna frowned. "I want more…" Iris whimpered, staring at the bottle in Zephyr's possession. 

"Call Aliana, we will take her back to the pack house," Zephyr said. "This is too much for her, the alpha will kill us if he knew about it."

But then, all of them stiffened when they felt a murderous aura from behind them and their alpha's scent hit them hard. 

"How do you plan to hide my drunk mate, warrior?" Cane asked, his eyes ablaze with anger, as he approached them. 

Out of instinct, the seven warriors immediately stood up and cleared the way, so the alpha could come closer to his mate, but the more Cane saw Iris's current state right now, the more livid he became. 

"Who had taken my mate here?" Cane asked, he didn't raise his voice, but it was enough to say, he was ready to kill all of them. They really had pushed all the wrong button. 

The alpha sat next to his mate and watched how her face had turned bright red, as she giggled like a child. 

All the visitors in this tavern turned their head to see the alpha came here. It was a shocking enough for the luna to be here, not to mention the alpha as well, especially to see how enraged he was. The tavern became so quiet like a graveyard. 

"It's…" Otis was about to point his finger at Aliana and Ethan, but the two culprits had gone. They disappeared when they saw how angry the alpha was, knowing the two of them would get into a big trouble if Cane found them right now. 

"Cane!" Iris exclaimed when she saw her favorite person, she raised both of her arms and hugged his neck, kissed his cheek. "You are here! Come! Drink this! They gave me so many drinks!"

The seven warriors suddenly had a heart attack when they heard what the luna said, it almost like their death came approaching to them so fast. 

"So many drinks?" Cane repeated the words murderously. "And why do you think it's fine for you to drink too much?"

"Because it tastes good and it's not polite to refuse when they pour me more and more drink…" Iris slurred, but she frowned when she sensed Cane didn't have the same happy reaction like her. "You are angry."

"I am." Cane didn't even lie. "I am mad, Iris."

However, what Iris did next make all of them gasped and held their breath, as their luna climbed onto Cane's laps and straddled him. She put her palms on the side of Cane's face. "Don't be mad. I don't like it when you are mad." She then proceeded to give Cane sloppy kiss on his nose, knowing he used to kiss the tip of her nose as well. 

Meanwhile, the seven warriors there prayed whatever their luna did, would soften their alpha's edge, unfortunately it didn't work. 

"We are going back to the pack house," Cane said coldly. "All of you come with me."
