HE IS NOT HER TYPE

They could hear and see it. 

The two groups that was led by Ethan and Aliana could see the dark wisp, soaring in the air from a certain spot in the deepest mountain, where they could hear Cane's scream. They hastened their pace, panic shoot through their blood. It was not a good news if their alpha was screaming like that. 

However, before they could reach Cane. 

There were around fifteen beasts and five warriors from the Blue Moon pack that stopped them, they barricaded their path. 

"What the meaning of this?!" Ethan growled at one of the Blue Moon pack warriors, which if he was not mistaken, his name was Danny. "Move away!"

Danny glared at Ethan. "How can you be here!?" 

The other Blue Moon pack and the royal warriors had blockaded the Howling Wolf pack, so no one would be able to go out. 

They were here to prevent any news about what happened in the mountain from leaking out and killed anyone, who tried to reach to the pack. So far, they found two people and killed them all, as per what they had instructed. 

This group of warriors was also the warrior that alpha Dristan's personal warrior had mistaken as part of the Howling Wolf pack, as he was an outsider and couldn't differentiate, which pack the warriors belonged to. 

But aside from that they also received another order for not stepping out of their spot right now, in no certain term they left their place, no matter what happened and what they heard, thus they didn't come to check when they heard a great battle in the distance and the thick smell of blood in the air. 

They were here to prevent someone to come closer and now, he saw a bunch of young warriors and the gamma. 

"Scram!" Ethan barked at them.

Meanwhile Joel, in his beast's form was ready to charge forward, despite he knew, those beasts in front of him were battle hardened warriors, who survived the war against the Howling Wolf pack a year ago. His young blood boiled, as he wanted to reach his alpha and luna as soon as possible. 

"Or what?" Danny tilted his head. It was very obvious he was trying to delay Ethan and provoke him, while his men searched for another warriors, who came with this gamma. They learned a trick or two about their strategy after one year under their oppression. "Do you want to fight us? With your puppies? Don't you feel ashamed of yourself to bring these children here?" he taunted. 

"No! Step back!" Ethan growled when one of the young beasts was about to attack, if one went ahead, the rest would follow, as he could feel their impatient. They were still so young and immature, and was also easily provoked. 

Thankfully, they still listened to him and aside from growling viciously, they didn't make any move. 

Damn it!

"Are you bringing them here for sightseeing?" Danny tilted his head and smirked. "Don't you want to know why we can shift into our beast, despite consuming Rottingbane? Don't you want to know about that?"

Ethan was silence, he didn't say anything, as he threw a dagger look at Danny. 

"What? You lost your tongue? We should have killed you all when you were still slaves!" Danny spit out, but then the next thing he said struck on Ethan's nerves. "Should we invite those savages again when your poor pack fell into our hand again?"

Ethan was seeing red when he was reminded about that. His whole body was trembling and his claws emerged from the tip of his fingers, he fought himself from shifting into his beast and pulled out this fucking warrior's tongue out of his mouth. 

But, weirdly enough, Ethan could hold back his anger and keep his temper in check. 

But right at that time, one of the beasts from the Blue Moon pack howled in the distance, but the howl was cut short, as the silence returned. 

"Damn it!" Danny cursed under his breath and looked over to Ethan, who was giving him a disdainful smirk. 

Aliana managed to bring her group to move forward, thus it was Ethan's part to keep these fucking warriors from coming after them. 

"Boys, it will be an honor to fight alongside with you all." Ethan then shifted into his beast form and charged forward with Joel by his side. He moved so fast, even Danny had no time to shift into his beast form, while the young warriors ran rampage, following the command of the gamma.

'Damn it! Your body is so weak!'

Cane could hear the lycan's voice in his head when the black wisp filled a large area in this mountain. If this black wisp was Lu's soul, Cane thought it could cover the entire mountain. 

In that case, it was not a matter of whether that old man could extract the lycan out of his body, but it was a matter of how much strength would he have to muster to complete his mission?

Cane didn't think this old dark sorcerer would be able to accomplish it, thus he waited for the right time to attack, once he was depleted from his power.  1

Lu, obviously, didn't make things easy for him. This creature was extremely stubborn and annoying, but for some odd reason, Cane felt better knowing that. 

'I don't want to hear something like that from a soul that has been leeching on me,' Cane retorted. 

Somehow, there was some point, he could feel Lu's emotions clearer, where he could differentiate his feeling and his own undoubtedly, until he could hear his voice in his head. 

What this old dark sorcerer was doing right now, somehow, had blurred the barrier between Cane's consciousness and the lycan's. 

'Say that again and I am going to kill you!'

'And then what? Are you going to leech on that old sorcerer?'

'Ugh!'

Cane could feel Lu's disgust toward the old man before them. 

'He is not my sweet moon's type.'
