"I want to hear his voice. I only want to hear his voice…"

Na knew the reason she had, sounded so absurd and didn't make any sense at all. It didn't even worth the trouble that she created for this whole realm to not destroy Decratic completely, to give that evil soul to be revived again, only for her selfish and foolish wish to be able to see her love one. 

Because her and Decratic existence tied together, if there was still a chance for the latter to be revived, so did the former. 

"I have known this since the very beginning that the lycan is a bad news for you," Rei said through his gritted teeth. He didn't like the lycan, but he couldn't do anything since Na looked so happy whenever she was with him, she looked so radiant and even more beautiful than she already was. 

It almost looked like there was a whole stary sky in her eyes whenever she looked at that cursed creature. 

Rei knew, he had to stop her. He should have stopped her before it was too late and the lycan affected her, but he would have never thought the affect of that lycan would be so great on Na. 

She literally took the risk of the world to be destroyed, just for what? To hear his voice? To meet with him one more time? That was a measly excuse and didn't worth the risk. 

However, in this point, that was absolutely not how Na felt about it. She was desperate and heartbroken, which led to the decline of her health, especially after she lost so much of her energy after a harsh war against Decratic. 

It killed Rei to watch her died a little bit inside in every second of her existence. 

"If the time could be reversed and I have a choice to choose not to meet with Lu, I will not take that." Na lifted her head and looked at Rei through her tears. "I am willing to go through hell only to meet with him again."

"NA!" Rei grabbed her shoulder and shook her weak body. "You are the Serafim! You shouldn't have such feeling! Your heart should be pure and he introduce you to hatred, anger, vengeance and all the negative feelings you shouldn't have!"

Na smiled sadly. Rei was right, as the Serafim, she shouldn't have that kind of feelings. "But, he makes me happy." In her bland life, where she was demanded to be a forgiving person and not allowed to get angry no matter what, Lu was full of emotions. 

He was like fireworks in the bland and calm night sky. Before Na could realize it, she was drawn into his flames that burned so bright. It was so fascinating to see how free his emotions were. 

This feeling was something that no one could understand, neither they could give it to her, since they respected her so much, it felt like a burden for Na. 

"He turned you into someone that I don't know," Rei said viciously, he let go of her shoulder, as if his palms were on fire. 

"Maybe, you don't know me to begin with," Na replied, she stared at Rei's green eyes, the color was so beautiful, like moss, but right now those eyes were so dim. "The whole Serafim thing burden me, Rei. I want to be treated normal and live a normal life…"

Rei's jaw clenched tightly, his golden hair shone brightly under the light. Na complimented his hair color the first time they met. 

"You need to rest, Serafim. This whole thing must have taken a toll on you."

Na looked so disappointed to hear that, she pressed her lips tightly and the silence that descended inside this room was so suffocating. 

"You have never seen me as I am."

Rei narrowed his eyes and then what happened next was something that Na didn't expect at all, as her protector leaned over and pressed his lips against hers. It last only for a brief second before he pulled himself back again. 

"I am afraid, you will not like it if I see you without the Serafim's attribute."

And after saying that, Rei left. His steps were so light like feather. He looked like floating instead of walking. 

Rei was the Serafim only protector, her shadow protector, the only person, who was responsible for her safety and wellbeing, someone, who would throw himself through fire without a second thought only to save her. 

But for Rei, Serafim or not, he would go through hell for Na…

And that was the last memory that was shown to Iris.

Cane watched countless beast surrounded them and this forced Zeke to stop performing his dark magic in order to extract the lycan out of Cane's body. 

'Say hi to my old friend for me,' the lycan said cheerfully and only then Cane realized, Haco had stood behind him and created a barrier around them to protect them from the monsters. 

"Cane! Get up! We need to get out of here! The barrier will not last for long, I have used too many of magic stones on my way here!" Haco said frantically when the monsters started to attack them. 

Lady Cyan and Zeke were busy to protect themselves, they forgot about the existence of the king, as it didn't take long for those vicious monsters to tear him apart, but even in the brink of death, Aeon's expression remained the same. There was no scream or any noise came from him when his chest was ripped apart, so did his limbs and another part of his body.  0

The monsters literally shredded him. 

'Great! Tear him up! Rip him up! Don't let that stupid creature to reproduce again!' Lu was so cheerful to witness everything unfolded. 

Yet, Cane sensed something else from this whole situation. 'Is it you? Who summoned those monsters?' he could feel Lu's smugness rolled over his whole body. 

'My power is awesome, right!?'
