"Haco, do you know what should I do, why are they here?" Iris glanced at those warriors, who seemingly waiting for her to do something. She was afraid to look at them, because it scared her if she found the faces that she was fond of. 

Knowing Ethan, Jace and Hanna were not among them was already enough for her, though it didn't make her less heartbroken and mournful to see some of the warriors she knew. 

"From what I know, the first Serafim used to offer them comfort," Haco said. 

"Comfort? How can I do that?" 

Haco shook his head. "I don't know, Iris. I have been away from the Holy Kingdom for five decades."

On the other hand, Oliver and Eron were trying to catch up with the conversation, though it confused them, about all the things there were being said. 

"Let your instinct guide you what to do." Haco couldn't offer much of solution, since he was also clueless, his knowledge about the Serafim and the Holy Kingdom, was from past memories a long time ago. 

"How can I offer them comfort?" Iris asked in small voice and braced herself to see those warriors once again. They were still standing in the same place, waiting for her, but didn't say anything. There were so many of them, five hundreds maybe? The number came to her mind readily, as if she could feel it in her heart. 

Iris then stood up, but Cane grabbed her hand. "Where are you going? It might be dangerous. Don't go." 

Somehow, Cane became a little bit clingy toward her, he became overly possessive and protective. He showed his emotions so openly and it was not usual for someone like him to do so. Probably, because he was too exhausted, thus he didn't have the energy to put up a front and let his emotions flew like an open dam. 

"It's okay, Cane. Those people are spirit of your people. They can't do anything."

Cane clenched his jaw when he heard the way Iris addressed those spirit as his people. She still didn't feel like she belonged to the pack and the thought dreaded him with the possibility that bastard Rei would snatch her away again. 

Cane pushed himself off the ground and held her hand. "Where are they?" he asked. It was not that he didn't feel anything for the lost of his people, but he was spent already to mourn them, especially when Cane couldn't see them, it didn't affect him the way it affected Iris. 

Knowing Cane's intention, she walked toward the line of the trees, approaching those spirits. Their expression looked sad and the sight made Iris felt like someone just squeezed her heart tightly. 

She stopped in front of the warrior. He was the young warrior that she used to see with Joel, but to her relief, Joel was not among these spirits. She felt so bad to feel this, as these spirits lost their lives unexpectantly. 

"I don't know what to do…" Iris said in sad tone and Cane didn't say anything, he realized she was talking to these spirits. 

Somehow, he believed her that she was seeing spirits of the dead shifters, his warrior, who didn't make it through the end of the battle, though he couldn't see them. 

At this point, Iris could say the sun rose from the north and he would believe her nevertheless. 

"What should I do?"

Cane couldn't offer a solution for her, because this was something that he had knowledge about, but there was someone else, who could help her about what to do. 

No matter how reluctant Cane was, or how much he hated to give it up, there was nothing he wouldn't do for her. More so, this was his people, their people.

Cane closed his eyes for a moment and when he opened them, his black eyes had turned into the red one. 

Wordlessly, Lu took both of her hands and put his under them. With both palms were facing upward, they could see this white light flickered in the air, as if she ignited it somehow with the help of the lycan. 

Iris blinked her eyes, she was surprised to see this. She did this before, but it didn't cross her mind this was something that she should do, more so, how could Cane know about this. 

But, she got the answer when she tilted her head upward and saw his red eyes, but this time, the lycan looked more serious than before. He didn't have his antique when he spoke. 

"Scatter it," Lu said softly, as he stood behind Iris, helping her about what to do at this moment. 

"How can I scatter it?" Iris asked. She immediately realized it was Lu, who was taking control of Cane's body, which meant, the alpha had given up his control to the lycan… this time, he did it willingly. 

"Just imagine it," Lu said. 

Iris could feel his palms under hers were so cold, as her back pressed against his. She looked so confused about what to do, but then she heard his instruction again and followed what he said. 

On the other hand, Oliver and Eron were stunned, they were at lost what Iris was doing. Even though they had seen this before, but this time, they could see it clearer. 

"What is she doing?" Oliver came closer toward Haco, as he asked the sorcerer, who seemed to have a better grip on this situation.  2

"She is trying to comfort the spirit."

"What? What is that mean?" Oliver was at lost. 

So did Eron, but he was more in awe about what his luna could do. All of them thought she was only a runt, who could do nothing. 

But then, Eron learned how her kindness and her patient had contributed to their alpha's plan, especially when she taught them how to write and read. 

And now…. she could do magic too?

"Don't you think our luna is full of surprise?" Eron mumbled, his voice dripped with fascination.
