[Bonus chapter] lost an arm for sure

BOOM!1

"What the hell, man?" Tiger ran as fast as he could, shooting anyone who would stand in his way. His other hand, however, was holding the phone to contact someone. "What is that old man doing?"

Tiger clenched his teeth and hissed, sprinting toward the underground where Gray and his bosses went. Some of them found him as a threat and tried taking him down, but alas, their fates were sealed in hell the moment they raised their muzzle at him. However, Tiger had no time for fun anymore when the third explosion was heard.

He saw a part of the building collapse, after all. If he was outside right now, he was sure the top floor was already tilted.

"Where the hell are they?" he wondered in his jagged breath, clearing up the path as he planned to regroup with Gray. 'Did they even get to that kid?!'

Considering the number of enemies he encountered, Tiger was certain the enemies were more than thirty than they expected. It wouldn't be a surprise if Gray encountered enemies on their way to rescue the little master. However, Gray was with Dominic, Axel, and Heaven. On top of fending off for himself, Gray had to protect those three.

"Damn it! Is he dead or what? A situation like this makes me think that damn clown is useful." Tiger hissed through his gritted teeth, jumping at the door that was leading to the underground basement. "This is not the job I signed up for!"

BOOOM!

Another explosion caused another tremor, but instead of stopping, Tiger picked up his pace. His face was crumbled in irritation, and his eyes were burning like the scorching sun. He kept his eyes on the end of this long corridor, hearing loud footsteps coming from the end of the hallway.

"I swear…" Tiger cocked his rifle without slowing down. "... if these are enemies, I'm going to fucking kill that Gray."

Meanwhile, coming from the end of the hallway, Gray hissed as he prepared his rifle. He met a few enemies on the way, and he was ready for another round of gunfight if the person approaching was an enemy.

Gray picked up his pace, knowing he couldn't let his bosses out of this hallway without clearing it.

BANG BANG BANG!

Bullets flew in all directions as Gray rolled onto the ground. His back hit the end wall, shooting fire continuously until he saw the man's silhouette take a high jump to avoid his shot.

BANG BANG BANG!

"Ah!!" Gray rolled back on the ground while the bullets followed his figure. "It's me!!"

The firing stopped and coming out of the smoke was Tiger. The man jumped on the wall and kept his momentum in walking a few steps on it, landing on the floor with a loud thud.

"It's me! It's me!" Gray yelled as he lay on the floor.

Tiger drew a deep breath as his eyes searched for the voice. When he lifted his gaze, he caught Gray lying on the floor.

"Oh…" he panted for air, rocking his head. "Sorry, dude. I thought it was another motherfucker."

Gray hissed before he winced, pressing the wound on the side of his leg. Tiger grazed him. If Gray didn't sense Tiger, the latter would've shot him dead.

"Can you walk?" Tiger asked, watching Gray crawl his way to sit up.

"I'm fine!" Gray hurriedly took off his suit and then his belt, which he wrapped around his leg to stop its bleeding. "It's just a graze. How's the situation?"

"It's bad." Tiger glanced at the end hallway, only to see Dominic and Axel carrying the boys and then Heaven. "This building will collapse soon and everyone is running to save their own skins."

Tiger moved his eyes to Dominic. "I'll tell you everything in full detail later. Let's go. We got no time."

"Gray." Heaven instinctively cast Gray a look, only to catch Tiger walking past them without a word. Tiger grabbed Gray's arm and put it across his shoulder, carrying the man.

"Let's go," he said, dragging Gray with him. "I told you. This building will collapse. Stop looking back."

Dominic drew a deep breath as he glanced at the people with him. "I'll lead the way. It's clear, isn't it?"

"It's not, but as I've said, no one will try to kill us," Tiger lazily remarked. "Even if they do, I'll shoot them down. No matter what happens, don't look back and continue. Even if there's a hundred of them ahead, do not stop until we're out of here."

Dominic stared at Tiger's countenance before nodding. Turning around, he led the group ahead while keeping in mind Tiger's remarks.

[ROOFTOP]

BANG BANG BANG!

Bear took cover behind the pillar as a round of shots fired at him. He glanced up at the chopper descending, raising his gun to shoot at it.

CLANG!

BANG BANG BANG!

Bear stopped shooting as another round fired at him, as if trying to stop him from sabotaging their escape.

BOOM!

Bear instinctively ducked down, feeling the surface he was standing on tremble and tilt slightly. He clenched his teeth, knowing this was their way to stop him from catching the people he had caught in this place.

"These people…" he breathed out, looking over the pillar he was hiding from. When he did, Bear only saw a man carrying another injured man to the chopper in a hurry. Some people in the chopper fired at Bear once again, forcing the latter to hide once again.

'What happened?'he wondered, noticing that the other man's injuries seemed fatal. 'He lost an arm… that's for sure.'

When the sound of the rotor grew louder, Bear peeked through the pillar once again. This time, the chopper was ascending to the sky to take the people away from this place. Bear aimed at it once again, emptying his rifle to stop it from going. However, their distance widened faster until his bullets couldn't hit it anymore.

"They got away…" he whispered, dropping the rifle down as he walked away from the pillar. His eyes remained on the fleeing chopper, his expression dark and menacing.

RING!

Bear raised his brows as he walked closer to the end of the rooftop. Gazing down, he caught red and blue lights blinking as countless vehicles approached the building.

BOOOM!

"Always…" he breathed out, tossing the empty rifle to the side. "... they are always late. Something's wrong here. Dominic Zhu, it seems you have to reevaluate everyone around you after this."

BOOM!

Bear snapped his eyes as another explosion went off, feeling the vibration underneath his feet. He breathed out before he jumped off the rooftop.
