[Bonus chapter] Her left leg

"Hera Cruel. Remember that name?"2

Princess and Gray held their breath at the name that rolled out of Heaven's mouth. Gray stood motionless by the door while Princess's eyes dilated, holding their breaths. Seeing the look on Princess's face, Heaven's eyes glided to the corner to see Gray over there.

'This is why…'Heaven drew a deep breath as she closed her eyes. However, when she reopened her eyes, a hand was already grabbing her collar while a muzzle was pressed on her temple.

'... I was reluctant to tell them the truth. They will kill me.'

In the blink of an eye, Princess was already standing before her and grabbed her by the collar while Gray kept her at gunpoint. However, Heaven's reaction was the same, unfazed by the threat from her side and front.

"How did you know her?" Princess's voice shook, clasping Heaven's collar while her other fist was raised. "Who are you?"

Gray's youthful countenance also revealed a mix of confusion and alarm. "I knew it. It's strange that a person like you can pull off all that stunt, but anyway, fighting together once doesn't mean we're allies."

"I'll blow your head off, Heaven Liu," he warned, pressing the muzzle on her temple. "You better be careful of what you say next."

"Get that thing off my head, Gray." Unfazed, Heaven cast him a side-eye. "You're scaring my child."

"Tch." Gray didn't listen but instead cocked the pistol.

Hera was someone very important to them. Even though she was already dead, they still honored her name and revered her with the highest respect. However, that wasn't the reason they instantly reacted upon hearing her name from the young madam.

Hera was notorious, yes. But only a few truly knew her name.

People knew her with many names. One of them, which was the most famous of all, was Hell. The flower who bloomed in hell, and the most poisonous of all. It didn't matter whether Heaven's intention was good or bad. Just the mere fact she knew Hera only meant she probably knew more than they expected.

"That old man…" A fire lit up behind Princess's eyes. "... did he tell you about her?"

"Princess, you know for yourself the old man wouldn't do that."

"Then how!?" Princess roared, barely holding herself back from knocking this woman out. "If not Bernard, how did you know her?"

Both Princess and Gray gazed at Heaven with fiery eyes, waiting for her answer. One fact they were sure of was that if she ever lied, they would knock her out. Regardless, if she were their employer's wife, they wouldn't let someone like Heaven live.

Cruel? They could do worse.

They wouldn't reach their ranks in the organization if they were bound by human conscience. Killing Heaven Liu wouldn't be that hard… and that child in her womb. It was just as they said, they weren't good people. They could be, but they could also be the worst villains in the Zhu family's story.

Which one would they be? That depends on her answer.

"Heaven Liu." Princess breathed out with a hiss. "Answer me. How did you know that name?"

Heaven assessed Princess's pair of burning eyes and her lips parted to give them an answer. However, just before her voice could escape her throat, she heard another sound of pistol cocking.

CLICK CLICK!

Gray froze as he felt something cold on the back of his head. He didn't even need to look back to know someone had him at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Princess furrowed her brows before turning her head to the side.

There, standing behind Gray, was Fig.

Fig held a gun at Gray while his other hand carried another one, pointing it at Princess.

"Fig?" Princess called, her voice laced with confusion.

Heaven arched a brow as she slightly turned her head, only to see Fig over Gray. Gray also looked back but didn't put his pistol down from Heaven. None of them noticed him going in. Although they were all skilled assassins, they didn't hear a sound. Yet, none of them were surprised.

Fig might be oversized, but he was blessed with nimble legs. If there was one in the organization who had the highest chance of success in every mission, that would be Fig. The man who never failed a mission. Never. Not even once.

"Dude, what are you doing?" Gray blurted out, confused. "Put that down."

"Let her go." Fig blinked calmly and slowly, glossing his eyes over his comrade's faces and then at Heaven. The corner of his mouth curled up into a subtle smile.

"You… are always so reckless," he said to her with a kind voice. "Two lifetimes and yet, sometimes, you are still too foolish, boss."

The lines in between Heaven's brows deepened. Not just her, but Gray and Princess as well.

"I'll blow your heads off if you don't drop your weapons in ten seconds." Fig lifted his gaze at the other two. "I'm not joking."

Gray and Princess stared at him blankly, making a countdown in their heads. When they reached the nine-second mark, Princess released Heaven's collar while Gray hissed before retrieving his weapon. As a habit, Gray unloaded the pistol and showed it to Fig.

"Why are you doing this, Fig? Didn't you hear her?" Gray scoffed as he took a step to the side, hands raised, while keeping the magazine and pistol in his grip.

"Don't tell me you're the one who told her, Fig?" Princess straightened her back, eyes still burning as if she was prepared to fight Fig head-on.

Fig's only advantage was his nimble legs, which were perfect for assassination. However, this only worked if the enemy was caught off guard. In a brawl, Princess was confident she could break his bones and send him to hell where he belongs without a sweat.

"Fig…" This time, Heaven also rose to her seat. The sound of her voice warranted Princess and Gray's attention. When the two looked at her, they immediately noticed Heaven was just as surprised and confused as them.

'Fig wasn't the one who told her?' was the first question that crossed their mind. 'Then, why?'

In a matter of seconds, the three of them had their eyes on Fig. The latter smiled, keeping his eyes on Heaven.

"I am your left foot and wherever you go, I'll always have your footsteps... Boss."
